This is a very unusual book, published in England in 1969, about what the next world is like. A colleague dropped it off at my office and said it has some fascinating insights. I don't know what to say about it being "gospel truth" but do know that some of the things that the late Francis Banks describes through Helen Greaves seem to make such sense. Read D&C 76, 88, 138 and compare. A lot of fascinating concepts to think about that appear to corroborate why near death experiencers fro...more
I agree this is an outstanding book, unlike anything else. A dear friend, a young mother, was dying last year, and I shared parts of this book with her, intending to comfort her and hoping to actually help her feel excited about what is to come. (She and I shared the same diagnosis, so there was a sense of urgency about learning about the realities of eternal life -- not only for her, but me too.)

This fascinating book is not for the closed-minded. Helen Greaves has written about her spiritual connection with a friend who passed away, but who continued to communicate from beyond the veil. It is a very interesting conversation between the two women and really does provoke in the reader deep thought on the seemingly unanswerable questions about what may become of us in the 'here-after'. For anyone interested in such topics, this is engaging.

Inspiring and hopeful.
A friend had a child die last year, this book has been referred to and used in many discussions. Those who have understanding of some things on both sides of the veil will recognize many of her experiences as having truth in them.
Someday, I may be able to finish this book! I found this book very hard to read, mainly due to the language/style of writing. But a good friend at church highly recommended it, so I am willing to try again someday.
Really makes you think about your purpose with this life. I borrowed book from friend and am now getting my own copy.
Recommended by Bettina!
