So very excited about this! I am not a fan of mass market paperback, but I love Amber Miller Stockton (formerly published as Amber Miller) and her creative imagination that she shares in her stories. So when I found out that her Delaware Dawning or Delaware Brides series (depending on who you talk to) from Heartsong Presents was going to be published in one Trade paperback Volume... OH HAPPY DAY!!! If you have not already read the stories as they were, read them now and treasure them in this ado...more
This is a three in one book about a New Country and the lives of three women Raelene,Elanna and Margret, I am now on the 2nd story and it involves war and a lot of letter writing. This three in one book is a great read if you like to read about the wars and the way the men in those early days viewed politics and how they handled the issues.
Amber Miller Stockton’s trilogy is a wonderful read. She brings about love, faith, and prayer, during a time of war. Her Promises are about when neighbors helped out and courting was still chaperoned. One’s virtue was gold. These three stories touch your heart and make you pray right along with the characters.
