Wow, this book had some twists and turns.

In case we've forgotten, the warrior Brennan was cursed by sea god Poseidon to never feel emotion...until he meets his true mate. But then he will immediately forget her the second she's out of his sight. Remember when he went psycho on the vamps in Boston? Yep, that's why...2000 years worth of emotion crashed over him at the sight of investigative reporter Tiernan. So 2 books later, we see what happens when he meets her again. Well, he feels her get bit More...

Wow, two thousand years of blocked emotions add a steamy intensity to the latest Warriors of Poseidon tale

Atlantis Redeemed has a great hook and a most excellent beginning. Atlantean Warrior Brennan was cursed 2000 years ago by Poseidon to feel no emotion until the day he meets his mate and then he is doomed to forget her every time she leaves his sight until the day she dies. Then the most vindictive part of the curse kicks in - he will regain his memory of her so that he can mourn the loss of More...

Alyssa Day always seems to deliver a book with a punch, she dose it again with Atlantis Redeemed. I found this book nothing less then amazing there is so much, I don’t know where to start and what to tell, I don’t want to give out a whole lot because it was just to good. So here we go. In this one you find not to piss Poseidon off when Brannan does just that, he finds himself cursed like no other, lets just say when Poseidon delivers a curse he does it with just the right touch to make you forge More...

Fifth in the Warriors of Poseidon paranormal romance series revolving around Atlantean warriors making up a special guard which protects the crown prince of Atlantis, the Seven. The couple focus is on Brennan and Tiernan Butler out in Yellowstone Park.

My Take
This started so well but somewhat into it, I started hoping that someone would take out Brennan and Tiernan if only for Darwinian purposes.

It was useful to finally discover what was behind the curse laid on Brennan back in 202 BC and Tierna More...

Ah, a great addition to Alyssa Day’s Poseidon Series. We’ve watched dear Brennan suffer without emotions through four books and now he gets his chance to shine. Atlantis Redeemed is a great combination of story line, action, love interest.

Brennan is a strong warrior who has been unable to feel any emotions for the past 2,000 years due to a curse placed upon him by the mighty sea god, Poseidon. Brennan remained a loyal servant for Poseidon all these centuries, not really believing the curse would More...

Brennan - an ancient Atlantean warrior... 2000 years ago he had a part in the suicide of a princess, and he spent months drunk, angering Posiedon, who cursed him as such: no emotion until he meets his lifemate; when meets his lifemate, all of the emotions will rush back to him; will forget his lifemate when she is out of his sight (including in sleep); until her death, then he will remember everything about her... hmmmm

2000 years later, he is an unemotional warrior who does his duty... and the v More...

“Atlantis Redeemed” is the fifth book (plus two novellas) in Alyssa Day’s Warriors of the Poseidon series. As in Atlantis Unmasked, I was prepared not to like this book as much as the earlier ones, since some of the heroes had smaller roles. “Atlantis Redeemed” is Brennan’s story, and once again Day managed to surprise me…I loved Brennan and Tiernan. In the previous books, we were introduced to Tiernan, an investigative reporter, and I thought then she would be an interesting character. Knew fro More...

Another excellent read from Alyssa Day. My only complaint? The next one isn't due out until September...

Brennan is a wonderful character always cool, logical, and TOTALLY unemotional due to a 2000 year old curse laid on him by Poseidon. Personally, given the EXTREMELY punitive details of the curse and the even more vindictive requirements for breaking it [the heroine has to die, for heavens sakes!!!:], I doubt if I would have continued to serve Poseidon... In this book, when he is with his soul More...

In this 5th installment of the Warriors of Poseidon series we're focused on Brennan and how he falls in love with Tiernan the reporter introduced in the passed book. I was excited to read about Brennan's story since he was cursed over two thousand years ago by Poseidon, losing all of his emotions until he set eyes on his one true mate. It was very interesting to see how he would handle all the emotions that came back to him when he came in contact with Tiernan. I loved the added intrigue with Ti More...

Oh, this series is killing me. I just can't put it down. I need to read more and more. What is not to like about a world about to get into war between shifters, vampires, faes, humans and our good and hot Atlantean warriors? I just love this series and can't wait to keep reading it, I just don't get bored of it.

In this installment we get to read about Brennan, a warrior 2000 years old cursed by the sea god to not feel any emotions at all, ever, at least until he finds his true mate, but ten forc More...

Cursed by Poseidon to experience no emotions until he meets his soul mate, only to forget her the moment his attention diverts, Atlantean Warrior Brennan still teams up with journalist Tiernan to rout a villain who’s discovered the secret of mind control. Not only does he have to fight the vamps and shapeshifters turned by the evil man but he also must battle the influx of feelings long suppressed when Tiernan awakens his passions. But the curse states that she must die before he can fully remem More...

This was a good read. Alyssa Day really has a way with beautiful words and imagery.

There were surprises in this book. One of the characters died and I certainly wasn't expecting it. I thought for sure this character would get a book. It was completely unexpected but it really was a beautifully written scene.

All in all, this was a good addition to the series. I liked Tiernan (great name) and Brennan. They were a wonderful couple.

It was nice visiting with old characters from earlier books as well More...

I LOVE Brennan! Oh. My. God. He's...so...great. Okay, calming down.

This was a wonderful book. Actually, I think out of the entire series, this is my favorite. Probably because we've read about Brennan and his lack of emotion in the other six stories. To finally see him feel...it's just amazing. Tiernan is a great, spunky heroine with scars and secrets that burden her. Together, she and Brennan set the pages aflame. There's no other word for it.

I love how Day handled the return of Brennan's emot More...

I love and hate this series.

Hate:
* So over the top with the ancient warrior stuff.
* All true love is determined by flames in eyeballs of warriors + soul meld during sex. Um... ok. So author never has to really develop a "why" or show us people falling in love because they are simply meant to be.

Love:
* World building, plot twists, characters
* Writing style
* non-stop action and adventure

So I guess this goes in guilty pleasure reading department. Because I love them... but also don't. I'm conflict More...

I had a huge problem with the borderline rape happening all over this book. The worst part was that Tiernan brushed it off - "He's got no control over himself." Absolutely! You sound just like all the other abused women of the world... So aggravating.

There were a couple of plot twists I didn't see coming and I don't really know how all this is going to get summed up on three books. I think Alyssa Day went in over her head with this series...

As always, the romance fell completely flat - it's ex More...

For the most part I liked this book as much as all of the Warriors of Poseidon series. However, this was my second time reading it and something bothered me a lot more than it did the first time. Though Tiernan is a strong-willed and intelligent woman, she shows a ridiculous lack of common sense at the most critical point in the book. I won't post spoilers but will say her lack of discretion in a room full of enemies irked me. I almost put the book down, but am glad I didn't. That one scene was More...

I've been disappointed by the last couple of books in this series (particularly Atlantis Unmasked), but this was fantastic and has restored my faith in the series. Brennan and his angst were excellent, and I liked Tiernan. While determined and brave, she mostly definitely wasn't a warrior, which was a nice change after Grace. This isn't the most original PNR world, but when it works, it really works. More...

Crazy! Brennan was cursed by Poseidon to never feel emotion. Once he found his soul mate, he would get them back. The catch, once he met her and let her out of his sight he would forget her. Not to mention that once he loved her, she was cursed to die. We met Tiernan back a few books ago but we didn't know the extent of the relationship. Once Brennan was back with her, he spills the story but she doesn't really want to be involved with someone who won't remember her. Before anything final can be More...

I like this series, The Warriors of Poseidon, as one can tell by my rating of the earlier books. They are entertaining, have a good romance usually, and a good story that furthers the overall story. The problem with this addition to the series is that it wasn't up to the others.

It was just an OK and parts of it were outright maddening/bad. The two main characters lacked real chemistry and their love/trust of each other seemed forced and rushed. It was a very simplistic story line compared to th More...

Memorable Scenes:
I’m absolutely sure there were some memorable scenes but unfortunately I didn’t mark them/write them down and as I read this book about 5 months ago I can’t remember any, which totally makes me annoyed at myself.

Brennan wooed me with his gentlemanly ways. He's protective and courteous with a deep fierce and passionate side to him. Don't let the gentlemanly ways trick you into thinking he's anything less than a strong, fearless warrior who goes into berserker mode when More...

Probably a solid 4.5, to be honest.

Alyssa Day's Atlantis series is one of those ones that I look forward to, but not obsessively. Not like the Immortals After Dark, or the Psy-Changelings. And every time I read one, I am amazed again about how much I like them. This one was for me the best one yet.

Brennan was cursed while still in his teens to live an eternity with no emotion. No joy. No fear. No sadness or excitement. Just...exist. When he meets his true mate, he will forget her as soon as she More...

Atlantean warrior Brennan is cursed by Poseidon for his drinking and debauchery to have no emotions or feelings until he meets his soul mate. And then he will forget her each time she leaves his sight, until her death and then he will remember everything. For 2000 years Brennan has been emotionless and when he finally sees Tiernan, his feelings come rushing back and turn him into a raving lunatic who promptly attacks her and rips her blouse right off. He doesn't go any farther than that but she More...

I'm a big fan of AD's Atlantis series and I was really looking forward to Brennan's story. Imagine being cursed for 2 MILLENIA to have no emotions. You can't experience fear, anger, joy, sadness, triumph or love. To a warrior this has to be a curse extraordinaire. Now add to that curse: when Brennan finds his destined mate, his true love, he will not remember her once she is gone from his presence. Only when she dies and her spirit is in Heaven, will he remember and mourn her.

There's nothing I d More...

I'm not impressed by this series. I know Day meant well, but all the heroines have exactly the same personas. It's actually annoying. I figured that out by the 4th book (too long) but now I just want to hurry up and finish the series since I've made it this far. The men are similar as well, but not like the women. The idea of the series is interesting, but I honestly would not recommend these books. There's nothing spectacular that makes the series stand out.

I really love this series, I think I read this one in two days. Fun, paranormal romance, I like the Atleanteans, and the story is not getting old. I highly recommend the whole series and the author does the best job of making you want the next story so bad. Fun beach reads for summer.

Another great book from Alyssa. Brennan and Tiernan were an interesting read but I still hold favorites with some of the other warriors. I love how Alyssa adds in all the characters and families from earlier books and leads to new ones that your dying to read about. I love the world of Atlantis. I will be starting the next book very soon =)
