I found this edition to the Nauti series to be very dull and boring. It felt like the same setup I've read over and over again, but with different characters. I didn't care for either main character, the plot needed more "umph!," and the way the H felt about his sexual appetites I found very boring and downright silly. Different strokes for different folks and all that, the mountain was made out of a molehill, yadda, yadda...

My review
This story was ok. I've always liked Zeke and Rogue and had been looking forward to their story, and the continuation of the fight to bring down the Freedom League.
I liked the sexual tension in this book, but there was something that made their character development somehow... meh. But still, I was very happy to see the Mackay cousins with their baby girls and would LOVE to fast forward 20 years and see what kind of grief they give their daddies. HA!

Not a bad offering by Lora Leigh--probably one of the better ones I've read by her in a while. This is the 5th book in her Nauti series, and it is mainly a romantic suspense with a couple of healthy dollops of LL's trademark erotic sex scenes. This book picks up where Nauti Intentions left off, with the homegrown terrorist group The Freedom League (a group of military and ex-military fanatics who think they can cause a revolution and take over the US government) still (barely) in operation in

This was the end of a series but the only one I've read. Story ok, kinda been there done that storyline but the romance(ok who am I kidding it more like smut lol) was smokin'! But really school teacher to biker babe who doesn't really want to be wild but is... Yum ya no, lame. She always stands up for herself but really she let's everyone walk all over her, And bad boy sheriff with dark past trying to protect her from himself... Even lamer especially when he's the one hurting her again and again

Not a bad read but there just wasn’t anything enthralling about it, nothing to keep me hooked from start to finish. Both main characters were pretty hard-assed and I found them both irritating at times. I didn’t like Zeke much, one minute he wanted Rogue, use her then flick her back away and say he didn’t want anything to do with her, didn’t cut it for me. Though the scandal at the start in the prologue played a role in Rogue becoming who she was, it didn’t really play a big enough role in the

Lora Leigh is my guilty pleasure. Her books are candy for my smut loving self. But even I have been left feeling a bit “blah” over her last few releases. They were ok, but something was missing for me. I went into this book expecting the same and expecting to be bored because Zeke and Rogue never really appealed to me in the previous books. I was also a little wary of the ongoing terrorist suspense plot. While Nauti Deceptions isn’t perfect, I was surprised to find I really enjoyed it.

Zeke - town sheriff - followed his father's footsteps, but with a different outcome/purpose... His father became embroiled with the local terrorist/Freedom Fighter group, with behaviors including murder, sexual extremes, etc... and he brainwashed/tricked Zeke into killing a man when he was 14... Zeke & his mother left then & went to California, where Zeke's father continued to sent her pictures of their activities, as a protection... as an adult, when Zeke's mother, father, and wife were kill

I liked this book. It was very steamy and I thought it wrapped up the series nicely. My problem was that the guy was a total jerk off to the girl for pretty much the whole book. I think I'm over the books where the guy is a dick to the girl "for her own good" or "for her protection". They never take the 2 seconds to explain what is going on and the girl ends up getting her heart broken for about 2 weeks. She avoids him and doesn't take any of his calls and when he finally cat

I won't bother recapping because the other reviewers did such a good job of that. Yes, it might have had a similar flow to it as the previous books did but it was still unique in its own way. When I read the last one, Janey and Alex's story, we got a good glimpse of Zeke and Rogue. I could tell she was going to be a wild one. A real rebel. After reading about her past and what was done to her, I didn't blame her for feeling like digging her heels in and snubbing her nose at what the town thought

OK, i've loved the nauti boys series so far, and i trully enjoyed the development of Zeke and Rogue's relationship, the scene with the son was just hillarious and as always with miss Leigh the sex scenes were steamy.
That being said...i don't know, this book felt kinda separate from the others, at least for me, the participation of the MacKay cousins was just minimal and i hated the epilogue.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It is the first "Nauti" book that I've read and I will definitely go back and read the others. I didn't feel lost not having read the previous books, but I think that I would have appreciated some of the interactions with secondary characters more if I had read their story.

Rogue Walker and Sheriff Zeke Mayes is fighting the attraction for years. Well the years of fighting the attraction have come to an end. Rogue has been trying to let Zeke know that she is old enough for a real adult relationship. Zeke has been avoiding Rogue. He doesn't do relationships. He has a very dark side and knows that Rogue is very innocent so he must stay away. But he is finding it harder and harder to do that.

Maybe 3 1/2 stars. I never can be entirely objective with favorite authors, even ones I'm irritated with. I will say that so far I've found the Nauti series consistently enjoyable (other than the titles). Nauti Dreams is still by far my favorite, but Nauti Deceptions was a nice installment with Zeke and Rogue's story. Zeke is the sheriff in a lovely appearing small town that is rife with criminal behaviors up to and including homegrown terrorists. Despite that disturbing aspect, not to ment

I think I'm about over the series. Which is sad because the men are delicious...but it's just so repetitive. I actually skimmed over a lot of the book, just stopping to read the sexy parts. The "action/suspense" part of the book is the same formula as the first four, so that made it extremely tedious. But I'm usually willing to overlook that for a hot, sweet romance, but that wasn't here either.

wow ... a lot going on in this book ... i had to re-read and outline the characters
DHS, domestic terrorist group (Freedom League), "hillbilly" setting and very hot main characters.
The sex scenes were out of this world sex and yet not overly graphic at the same time.
I have plans now to read the first four since they were definite references to earlier events.

Nauti Deceptions – Lora Leigh
This is book 6 of the Nauti Series and takes us back to the small town of Somerset, Kentucky where there are no secrets.
Caitlyn Rogue Walker attracts the attention of Dayle MacKay and Nadine Grace when she stands up for Shane, the local sheriff’s son. She is caught in a compromising situation and forced to resign as a school teacher. She refused to let them run her off, shed her sweet & innocent persona and became Rogue. She runs her dad’s More...

This book takes us back to the rural southern town that is defined by the Nauti boys and their friends. Who wouldn't love to live in a town where it seems like the men take being an alpha male to the extreme and you know everyone.
This time around the story revolves around Rogue and Zeke. Rogue has experienced the bad side of a town so small that the powerful that all bow down to them even if they are bad. Deciding to stay in town and thumb her nose at them she changes everything More...

Not my favorite of this series, though I was hoping it might be. I had high expectations but the book didn't quite meet them. Still, it was a good book, and I liked it for the most part.
Series Note:
This series should be read in order.
Summary:
Caitlyn "Rogue" Walker used to be a straight up good-girl teacher, but when she moved to Somerset, Kentucky to teach, things went horribly wrong. She got on the wrong side of the ver More...

I liked Rogue and Zeke at first (the chemistry between them was off the chart) but after the halfway point in the book they just started to grate on my nerves. It was like she was either horny or angry or both and she just wasn't satisfied with anything or anyone. Granted she's due to be bitter but it just got tiring after awhile. And God damn it, I wanted to like Zeke-in fact I did at first-but his sulky behavior and attitude made me want to bash him over the head. He's still pretty hot though

Rogue is totally awesome. But she went from kick ass, to I'm pissed at Zeke screw him, to literally screwing him. Over and over and over. Zeke just repeats over and over how Rogue shouldn't anger him, piss him off or turn him on too much. At certain points I wanted to scream "no means no." I understand you want to be kinky or a little forceful sometimes, but after a certain point I put down the book and came back to it later.

I'm a sucker for Zeke, even though he isn't blond- I fixed that in my mind as I usually do with dark-haired heroes, so it wasn't that much of a problem.
It's true, Zeke as ultra-hard lover with considerable kinks (nothing too bad, though) didn't emerge from the previous books, where he was portrayed as Mr. Good Guy personified, but I didn't find that so bad. There were some steamy images we didn't encounter in previous Nauti-books (handcuffs, for example), and the genetically inherited kink More...

Very good intense read. Caitlyn "Rogue" Walker runs the local bar after being set up and run off from being a school teacher. The sheriff named Zeke has been resisting Rogue for five years. He finally gives in but someone is trying to hurt anyone associated with Zeke. He has to pretend he is not interested but Rogue does not understand this.

I enjoyed this book the most. As with the other books in this series, there are graphic situations, though not as many as the previous four books. The suspense/mystery in this book had me wondering constantly who the villain was.
While there were a few whiny parts, the whole age thing, I really wanted this couple to get together.

Rogue Walker has been infatuated with Zeke Mayes for years. Yearning for him and trying her darndest to hide her reaction to the sexiest sheriff in town. Zeke feels the same way but he has secrets that could get a girl killed so he resists as long as he can. The sexual tension is unbelievable and when they finally get together, they damn near burn the bar down. The sex scenes are smoking hot and sexy Zeke is one hell of a lover. Of course, all good romances have the heroine in some kind of

I’m vaguely embarrassed to admit that I read this book. Because it also means admitting to having already read books 1-4, before tackling #5, even though I didn’t (and still don’t) love the series. But when you feel like m/f smut - Lora Leigh certainly delivers.

This was my favorite of all the Nauti books. The heroine is both a vixen and a believable innocent. The hero is tortured by his past, his need for justice and his attraction for the heroine.
For a steamy, sinfully good read, check out Nauti Deceptions.

All I have to say is OMG! I loved Natches and Alex but, for some odd reason, this installment really spoke to me. I couldn't put it down. Zeke just drew me in and kept me captivated! My only complaint was in the final chapters where things are revealed and Zeke is not clear with Rogue on how he always wanted her...we all know that from the reading but, he lets her believe he only was out to use her and left her at that house heartbroken! I did not see the need to have that part written in t
