Carol Lynne shows how everyone is doing about 10 years after the previous stories in the series. All 15 of them are included along with their offspring as the search for Gabe's mom heats up. There are new faces introduced too since this book provides a lead-in to a new series, Bodyguards in Love.

Carol Lynne gives us a reunion of the folks from her Men in Love series, and it was nice getting to "see" everyone again. The gang gathers together because a woman turns up claiming to be Gabe's long lost sister. Gabe has spent years in a fruitless search for the mother who abandoned him. As usual, everyone bands together to get to the bottom of things, and we get a nice picture of these men and women ten years after the rest of the series.

以前読んだ「Brier's Bargain」のBrierたちが出来上がるまでがこの本で読める、と知ってあらすじを全く見ずに読んだ。うん、Brierのストーリーは良かった。でも、彼の兄弟以外のキャラたちが全員３Ｐ関係にあってびっくり！ やけに登場人物が多いな…と最初思っていたのだけど、女男男で１カップルでプラス彼らの子供たちで１家族。それが３・４家族も出てくるんだから、もう覚えきれないよ！
苦手な３Ｐしかも女性混じり、だったけど、どのカップルもあっけらかんとしていて、互いの嫉妬とかそういった揉め事には触れられていなかったから最後まで読めた。ボディーガード会社の詳細が読みたいけど、うーん、悩む… More...

I liked seeing all the characters again but because of the plot there wasn't a whole lot of romance or relationship stuff going on. I'm not a fan of girlie bits either, and though there weren't a lot and I knew there would be before I read it, I still had to skim over those parts. I'm very interested in Brier's relationship with Jackie - one of the best aspects of the books - though it does make me a little uneasy so far. I look forward to Brier's story.

Brier's Bargain makes much more sense if you read this one and Tortured Souls first.

And I'm done with this series. I'm not sure if that's good or bad. I'd like to start reading the Bodyguards in Love series, since they are related, but I have other books from other series to read.

Really liked this book, except for the m/f (and menagés involving a female) in it. Those I skipped. All the m/m and m/m/m were awesome though!^^ I'm so happy the spin-off series will be all about the men, no vaginas around. *lol*
