Back in November when I first found out this book was being published I said "I am SO excited, if you want something fun, sexy and full of action then this may be the series for you. Any vampire warrior who must live off blood and sex can try and see if I am a mage any time of the week. Warning - this has a cliff hanger ending. I HATE that. If I'd know, I would have waited for the release of Master of Smoke and just bought both of them then.
Good read, hot sex, but you really don't see much typing the h/h together except sex and location/profession. I'm guessing they might be further developed in the next book - as Smoke [who is the hero of the next book:] was started in this one.

I have enjoyed the few books in this series and was excited to read this newest addition. I think it was quite good in the sense that it was a stand-alone story that linked to the other books in this series. However, there was just a feel of the dialogue being a bit on the fussy side -- it was probably just me. However, I enjoyed the story as a whole and was glad I had an opportunity to read it. If your a fan of paranormals then you'll love Angela Knights Master series. The Master series is a mix of wolfs, witches, elves and vampires. Lets not forget King Arthur and his round table. Another great book by Angela Knight in her Mageverse series. Great book if you like: vampires, witches, suspence, parellel worlds, a little mystery, and a sexy read. Having sex three times will turn Logan into a vampire, and Giada was expressly forbidden to turn Logan, but the sexual tension between the two makes that hard. LOVED IT!!! This to me is what a really good paranormal romance should be. Angela uses such a fantastic imagination in writing these book's. I really liked both H&H the and secondary characters. Of course the love scenes were Hot and that is always' a plus for me.

I enjoyed this enough to keep reading it, but felt the "magic" aspects were inconsistant, zapping in and out and disarming stuff, until they needed it, then there was some new rule or problem. Also, hero and heroine both came across as naive. The sex scenes were heavy-handed ("Sweet Merlin's Cup, you're tight!" - pretty cheesy) But still, there were some good plot elements, and if the next story is about Smoke, I'd probably read it.

Another great installment in the Mageverse series and officially the last one I'd previously read. I really liked the main characters in this one. Logan is a great representation of a human son of King Arthur and Giada is as perfect for him as everyone seems to think. I especially like the new character, Smoke. Can't wait to read his book next!

Only my second novel by Angela Knight - though I've read a few of her short stories, too.
I didn't enjoy this one quite as much as the others, but I think that may be because I took so long reading it. I didn't love the characters as much as I usually do, though.
Knight writes great sex scenes, though, and I love the Mageverse in general. I'll keep reading these :)

My least favorite of the series so far... I missed the fun of some of the other books. I had little faith in the couple and felt that they rushed things too often. I also thought the instant and unexplained "IN LOVE" made me want the book to be over instead of enjoying the story.

Logan MacRoy the son of King Aurthur is fighting his destiny of becoming immortal due to a childhood trauma. Giada a Majae, a magical witch from the Mageverse is sent to watch over him as someone is killing Latens that are to become immortal. They are gunning for Logan. They twist fate they experience is like no other. Very intense story. Read the book in one day as I could not put it down.

I enjoyed the overall plot of the story and liked both of the characters. I thought he was a bit immature, but I also don't think he had a lot of experience with relationships. I just thought it took too long for him to admit he loved her. I also didn't like that kids were involved in the nasty parts. That always hurts a story for me. I loved Smoke & can't wait to read the next story about him.

I do so enjoy reading the evolution of Knight's Mageverse series and seeing how the titles fit. Knight has such a hot touch with this vampire culture she has created.

Another great installment from Angela Knight. A very sweet love story with incredibly steamy sex scenes. LOVE Angela Knights sex scenes. Giada and Logan battle the evils stalking them as well as battle the growing affection they feel for each other. It's your typical romance book.. I enjoyed this book but it was a little disapointing that it took so long to really get Logan MacRoy to except that he needed to become a vampire. He knew that eventually he would. But he had been putting it off which it seemed kind of silly. After you hear he reason you understand a little better. But still it made the story a little drab.

Good book. I enjoyed the character of Logan as being a human male coming to grips with becoming a vampire later. And I really liked Smoke and that the next book is about him! Would recommend this book.

They had a son, called Logan? The more I learn about Arthur, the less I kind of like him. He's an asshole in this book towards Gaia. I feel bad for the poor chick.
Smoke is fun. I love that mischievous cat. Well, yes, he's more than a cat. I'd love to have him in my bed with me. *wink wink*
This was a story which moved fast and brought in some new fun characters.
