A great builder on learning about Isaiah. This is a unique book in that it is actually an edited copy of many articles written on Isaiah. It contains a wide variety of topics and is very well done! The book started off great with an article from Elder Jeffrey R. Holland. Donnald Parry gives a great intro to understanding the book of mormon using 2 Nephi 25:1-8. Some articles I didn't really like - but then others I defenitely did. Thus the 3 stars and not 4.
This book is most useful as a study guide. I couldn't sit and read it straight through, but I used it as a companion to my scripture reading and found it very insightful on the Isaiah passages in the Book of Mormon. It helped me to understand not only what Isaiah was saying, but why the Book of Mormon prophets felt the need to include those certain passages.
This is a collection of articles about the parts of Isaiah that are in the Book of Mormon and what can be learned from their study. I love what I have learned about Isaiah and from his words in both the Bible and the Book of Mormon, and I appreciated the further insights I received from this book.
