THIS BOOK COUNTS AS TWO BOOKS
The Wrath of Ezra is about Ezra and Dennis trying to stop people from Foo trying to get to Reality. It is also about Leven becoming the Want. The sychophants are also trying to stop people from Foo Trying to get to Reality.
I gave this book 5 stars because once again I couldnt put it down.
I would recomend this book to anyone who liked the first 3 books in the Leven Thumps series.

As always, the writer of this great Leven Thumps series never fails to surprise me! This book was absolutely great. I flew through the pages, finishing it faster than any other book in this sereis.
It had some funny chapter titles; I also liked the cover--an illustration of Ezra by Benjamen R. Sowards. That toothpick was very rude, but I was surprised at the end of the book that I could get so wide-eyed and tense over his seeming demise.

One of my biggest complaints in "ya fiction" series is that they spend way too much time rehashing what happened in previous books. Typically, this drives me bananas. This is one of the first books I have noticed that does not do that, and strangely, it made me crazy! That's because it has been nearly a year since I last read #3, and I couldn't immediately pull up who was who or where they were. Odd.

After the disappointment of reading "The Youngest Templar: Keeper of the Grail," By Michael Spradlin, I found that Mr. Skye's book was a refreshing redemption of young adult literature, especially since I read both books back-to-back. In fact, part of the reason I picked up "Leven Thumps" was to see whether all YA literature was going down the same trail, or whether it was just a few books (and copious amounts of "fan fic").

So I never finished the Leven Thumps series because it just got too predictable...in that EVERY chapter has something in it so wacky, so esoteric, so absolutely unbelievable that I actually started guessing on crazy things that might happen. "Leven Thumps and Wrath of Ezra"; by Obert Skye is definitely one of my favorite books out of the series. It's a fantasy adventure story filled with action, humor, mystery, and suspense. The author takes it to a whole new level by creating strange creatures, refreshingly new characters, and a land never known before.

When I started reading the Leven Thumps series I wasn't too thrilled with it, but once I start a series I have to finish it. Well, I just finished the fourth book and am receiving the last and final book for Christmas. I have to say that Leven Thumps has really started to grow on me. The last Leven Thumps book I read was two years ago and as soon as I picked up the Wrath of Ezra I felt like I was being comforted by an old friend! I love when I get that feeling when reading a book!

I've lowered my review for this book as compared to some of the earlier ones. In the end, all the little niggling annoyances that I had with series at first are amplified in this one. Honestly, one can't help but feel that Obert Skye is shooting for these books to be humorous. But the humor simply isn't worth the time spent on it. These books always make me laugh. Clover is one of my favorite characters ever. But that's probably because I'm positive I have a little Sycophant living in my house who is suspciously a lot like Clover. His sole purpose in life is happiness and to look after me. This is the Fourth book of the series of Leven Thumps. It's easy to see how far Leven and Winter and Geth have come after the first two books. Geth is now restored, but by the moment he seems to be growing shorter. Also, recently Winter's old caretaker/mother is now a wisp. Book 4 of 5. Another solid entry, but this one ended far more abruptly than the first three. Makes me glad I've got the fifth book in hand to get started on immediately.
Rating: PG, for some action sequences and a semi-scary bad guy (for little kids, but this holds for the earlier books, too).

I loved this book. I think it was better than the third.
The author changed the way he wrote though and it caught me off guard, in a bad way. He started to write as if he knew the characters and had interacted with them. He also began each chapter with a page or two of random comments, very much in the Lemony Snicket style. Since the previous three books weren't like this, I was rather miffed. This book was better than book 3, but there were things that still bothered me about the book. There was not as much switching from character story to character story in each chapter, but there was still enough to irritate me. At the beginning of each chapter the author put in his own random thoughts about Foo or Reality or feeling, etc. About halfway through the book I was annoyed enough to skip the first paragraph so that I could just read the "real" story.

Loved it. I found it irritating that the author/narrator inserted himself in the beginnings of chapters. I don't remember it from the first two books so it struck me as odd for the author to begin in the penultimate book, unless he will make an appearance in the story's conclusion. Otherwise, it feels like a ploy to snag readers who loved Lemony Snicket.

I took me forever to get interested in this one. About half-way throught it started to draw me in. If you haven't read the previous books, it will make virtually no sense to you, so it is essential that you read the previous 3 books before this one. Also, I wasn't thrilled with the ending. Overall, it was OK, but I would never read it again. Not worth the time and energy, and too many loose end and chapters that were never tied back into the story.
YES!!! With this book, things started happening that I like! I finally started seeing more character development. Also, I loved the whole "longing" idea that starts to take place in this book (don't want to spoil it for people!). I wish more would be done with Geth instead of his usual "fateful" words of wisdom. I LOVED that justice was finally served to Terry and Addy. I actually cheered...out loud. Can't wait for the next one.
I'm always impressed with Obert Skye's ability to slip in a joke or a wisecrack. He has a knack with the unstory. If you've read the books, you may get what I'm trying to say. I think my favorite parts are when he sets up the reader to look in one direction, paints us a picture and then says, "That's nice, isn't it? Anyway, that's got nothing to do with what is actually going on over here. Next!" I fall for it every time.
This book was dumb. I thought these books have been dumb. I hated how he took you into and another dimension and let you eyewitness the problems and wonders of Foo. I like how he used language to describe a land that dosen't exist. I also enjoyed how he picked the charaters and the imagination he has to write. This was a great book and I encourage people to get involved in the series.

This book is about the WORST wrap up of a plot EVER! The book was good, and very consistent with the previous ones in the series, but it does not resolve ANYTHING at the end. It is like Obert Skye had a publishing deadline and just wrote until they needed the manuscript, then quit. If you want some resolution in the books that you read, I would recommend waiting until the next one comes out.
If I HAD to pick, this one would be my least favorite one, but I still loved it. Ezra is this little toothpick and is totally EVIL. The thought is both amusing and scary, I mean it would be pretty scary to be running from a toothpick that "came to life", but on the other hand it would be pretty amusing seeing a tiny little toothpick running across your lawn screaming at the top of his lungs and it sounds like a small high-pitched squeal, lol. Although this book had a number of great plot points, it just wasn't that good. It kind of feels like the author has just given up and is pushing himself to finish the series. There were a lot of shortcuts that didn't make a whole lot of sense, and the style felt extremely forced. I'll read the next (and final!) book when it comes out, and I'm excited to see how the story ends, but I'm afraid the series overall just isn't as much fun as it was to start with.
I liked this book better than the third one, but there were still way too many main characters. I was glad Leven wasn't separated from Winter and Geth this time like usual. I also liked the way in which Janet has progressed. Her character has definitely grown the most. I did think Janet and Osk's romance was a little weird, though.

Ireally hated this book, because I thought that it should have ended at 3 books. It seemed like it dragged out everything so that the author could get more money. I really liked the ideas in the book, but it just needed to be over for me. The first three were awesome, I recomend them, but this one just seemed lame to me.
2*'s. Second to Last book in the series. Maybe I didn't noticed it in the first few books, maybe he totally changed his writing style, I don't know. But the start of - EVERY- chapter began with a long paragraph, sometimes two, about absolutely nothing. It annoyed the heck out of me. This book is a cliffhanger.

Good. You have to really go back and remind yourself of what happened before, and what each creature is, but good. The descriptions were a bit forward and silly to me, but you do get an idea of what the writer had in mind. I am interested to see what happens in the last book.
I'd give it 4.5. As always, I love the humor and imagination of these books. The characters are great, lots of action and unpredictability. (Ezra is just hysterical! Lots of laugh-out-loud moments with him.) My one beef with this book was the ending. It really left you hanging--more than is usually the case with these books. It was almost like the end of a chapter, rather than the end of the book. Maybe I'll be happier about it when the next book comes out. Can't wait!
