A forbidden union forged in love and tempered in hellfire.

One last task and Megan will be free of the debt of honor owed by her family. Spying on Dante, a powerful vampire with questionable friends, sounds simple enough. But her mission is complicated by the fact she's got something every vampire wants--tangy, powerful, werewolf blood.

It's easy to capture his attention. T...more

Inferno, an erotic romance story, is the second book in Tales of the Were series.

In book one, Lords of the Were, we met vampire Dante d'Angleterre, a knight turned vampire that helped battle the Mater Priori, Elspeth, Destroyer of Worlds generations ago. Venifucus, a sect of followers aiming to restore her to power, is again active and has infiltrated the Altor Custodis, a group of supposedly benign watchers of all magical beings from were to vampire to fey. They are the record keepers and as a...more

I'm conflicted about this book. I was surprised by the positive reviews. However, don't misunderstand me about that, I do like the book. However, the continuity and details made it very hard for me to give this a good rating. Fey have long life expectancy from what the first book states. Sorry for the spoiler, but I'm stating this because it IS in the first book. Betina is proof of that. Although, I think because she is High Priestess and Fey, it makes her life expectancy a tad longer. But Dunca...more

This book comes after Lords of the Were and is Dante's story. It is helpful to read that one first because some of the characters are in this one, but it is not imperative. These two books are also related to Sweeter than Wine and the Brotherhood of Blood Trilogy. She seems to list them like Lora Leigh does her Breed books, they are related but she lists them separately. Maybe because it is not imperative that you read them in order outside of their own series. Anyway, very good story.

just love Bianca's heroes. Love 'em!!!

This is the 2nd book in the WereLords series. I really enjoyed the first book where we also met Dante and Duncan for the first time. Dante is the ultimate sexy good guy. Megan is a part werewolf trying to "work off" an old family blood debt to clear her family's name and bring honor back to them, but got tricked in to giving her allegiance to the wrong people. They in turn force her to do many questionable things. Her supposed final task is to spy on Dante a...more

Somewhat disappointing at the start when I learned that this really wasn't a continuation of the story of Tim, Rafe, and Allie. I really wanted to learn more about those characters, but was comforted by thought of at least in this book I will learn more about Dante. He was just barely introduced in the previous story, but he definitely seemed like a character that could handle his own book. I was also pleased to see that Duncan was in this one as well with a much larger role to fill than in the...more

Hot, hot, hot. She is such a luck girl, she gets to make out with two hot men, a fey knight of goodness and her vampire one and only. Not only that, she also gets to make out with three hot men while her one and only watches. Talk about the kink factor. Very nicely done, and the thing is, it doesn't seem forced, but part of the plot and part of her character. So yes, I enjoyed this book :)

This was my 2nd Bianca D'Arc book, the first being the 1st book of this series, Lords of the Were. I have struggled with both of these books, but I can't put my fingers on what it is that doesn't appeal to me. I've read books with just as much sex that I enjoy, so it's not that there is too much sex. The plot sounds like it would be interesting. I don't dislike any of the characters. I've concluded that D'Arc may just not be my cuppa. I may try another series of hers before giving up completely....more

liked better than the first, but less than the third which seems disconnected from the first two. very scary things afoot - likely to pick up the connected vampire series to see what's going on.

Bianca D'Arc didn't impress me with her Brotherhood of Blood books, but this series so far has rated much higher on my scale. I love the Knight angle, the strong heroine and the alpha males, but just wish her dialogue was a little stronger. Inferno ended with a nice set-up for the story to continue, so I'll be watching for more from this series.

I originally read this novel in 2009. I read it right behind the first novel in the series and was impressed enough to keep reading it.
Mandy
not a bad story
it just could of been better.
it was kinda predictable.
i never thought i would say this,
but there is such a thing a too much sex.

i wonder if that is really the end of the series though the vampire bit overlaps quite a lot with the brotherhood of blood series i definitely would like to have Duncan's story to read too! but this one is hot for sure and a love story with interesting twists and turns to be sure. Another Great D'arc Classic!

Another winner by Ms. D'Arc. Again we are entertained by a vampire, a were and fey. And I loved them all. There is intensity, determination, love and let's not forget those hot and steamy menage a trois...wow. I liked book one and liked this one even better. Highly recommend.
