For all sports lovers, I recommend "Life Wisdom from Coach Wooden," by the legendary "UCLA" college basketball coach, John Wooden. Originally when I received this book I thought it would be a quick read and it wouldn't be a big deal, but once I started reading it I really enjoyed it. For all those sports fanatics out there, I recomend "Life Wisdom from Coach Wooden". This book is a quick read bibliography, but makes you think even deeper. Most of the book is written in 'quote' form with a couple pages for introduction. The book is a collection of Coach Wooden's wisdom and experiences throughout the years of him being a person, a basketball player, and a coach.

I plan to use this book in my classroom of 5th graders. It does include parts about God but I will use it without using the word God in hopes that the kids will still learn valuable lessons.
