Yay. Another author who succeeded in mixing romantic suspense elements into a Harlequin Blaze story. Great buildup, wonderful characters, sizzling chemistry, and some issues tied in with the past, but that didn’t overshadow the main story.

A cute Blaze concerning a woman recovering from a hellacious divorce and a good cop with a shady past. I breezed through this book very quickly (pretty much read it in 2 hours, I think). I figured out a lot of the 'mystery' pretty early on and I think that it is a shallow backdrop for the relatively steamy sex. I liked that the heroine had struggled with bulemia in the past, though I wish there had been a bit more about how she'd overcome it. I also think the hero got sidelined a lot to showcase ...more

OK. Is there anything that isn't contrived in this book? Characters, plot, dialog, anything? If it weren't for the fairly hot sex scenes, it would be a two star book. As it is, it is a low three.
