Cayetano Brule un gran personaje, me gustó muchisimo la historia, pero aún más la critica expuesta por Ampuero respecto del comportamiento de los chilenos como turistas en comparación con los extranjeros. Además no podía faltar un político corrupto.

Excelente novela, su trama es muy envolvente. Sin caer en detalles que te abrumen consigue que uno se sitúe en el lugar que describe de tal manera que se pueden sentir hasta los aromas! Recomendado al cien por ciento este caso de Cayetano Brulé

Muy buen libro, los estoy leyendo por orden y este me pareció más sólido que "Boleros en La Habana". Buen esfuerzo de Roberto por retratar el desierto. Notable el personaje de Cayetano Brulé.

Sólo al final toma el vértigo entretenido de una buena novela policial. No alcanza para ser recomendable.

Roberto Ampuero is a Chilean author, columnist, and a university professor.

In Chile his works have sold more than 40 editions. Ampuero now resides in Iowa where he is a professor at the University of Iowa in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese.He was a columnist of La Tercera and the New York Times Syndicate and since March of 2009 has been working as a columnist for El Mercurio.
