Ahh yes, just another novel where there are way to many 'baby your so tight', 'baby, your on fire'','your so wet for me', 'so beautiful', 'your pussys so hot i'll burn to ash','watch my dick fill you, slow and easy'.

Along with the never ending exaggerations on the enormous size of the hero's blue veined jack hammer.

Now dont get me wrong, this was a good read. I enjoyed the mystery aspect to it and only had my slight suspicions as to who the culprit was (my lips are sealed). BUT - when I open a book and within the first, oh... 15 pages, there is talk of anal, well lets say I know im going to be in for it.

And let me tell you, APPROPRIATLY named 'Dawg' is most definately a bum tickler.

As always the writing was good and the characters well developed. I think each book brings them to a higher level, and we understand them more. I like that all these characters have such a long history between them. It really adds another element to all of them and the story.

The only thing that I hope changes in the next book is for Kelly, Rowdy, Dawg, and Crista to be a little more involved in Natches story. Since Natches, Rowdy, and Dawg grew up like brothers, it would be great for them to have a little more interaction. Just a very minor criticism.

I can hardly wait until the next book arrives in my mail box. A must have and a keeper! (less)

Yikes! Turns out the cousins had first joined the Marines and later became government agents. Dawg rescued Crista before the bad guys could kill her, but used her suspicious presence there to blackmail her into becoming his sex toy for the next three months, promising not to turn her over to the authorities. Seems he is in love with her and has been for the last 8 years.

Yeah, Dawg is an alpha to the extreme and could definitely use a few lessons to improve his nonexistent people skills. He is irritating but yummy (another gorgeous guy with long black hair). Crista is irritating as well. She has always loved Dawg but refuses to give in to it. She keeps saying she will lose her soul if she does, which was confusing to me. It took me a long time to realize “soul” to her means “heart” to the rest of us. This is another enjoyable read by Lora Leigh. Lots of steamy sex scenes and a HEA ending.

Now I’m off to read the first novel in this series, “Nauti Boy.” Somehow I got these two mixed up and started reading them out of sequence. Yes, I’m one of those who longs for the day when publishers will print on the front cover which book is which in a series (big smile). Make my busy life easy, please! Oh, well. The third novel, “Nauti Dreams,” comes out this summer. It’s about Natches, and I liked him a lot. Can’t wait!

I liked the 2nd in the Nauti series from Lora Leigh... I feel the same way about this book that I did about Nauti Boy as far as the arguing goes ;-)

This is the story of Crista and Dawg. They had a chance encounter one night when Christa was 18. Dawg pretended it never happened and Crista is crushed. She leaves town in a hurry and doesnt look back.

I enjoy all of Lora Leigh's writing, but I have a weak spot for her male characters who are in the military/special ops. In this book, Dawg (yes, that's what the heroine called out in the throes of passion) is an ex-Marine who works for ATF and Homeland Security. I ADORE Lora Leigh’s breeds- some of her other series? Not so much. Her Nauti Series I pretty much wasn’t interested in because it seemed an awful lot like her Men of August series which I couldn't get into, but I saw it at the library and decided to give it a shot.

I enjoyed this one as much as the first. Dawg was harder to like tho. Rowdy was definitely a little bit less intense than Dawg and easier to connect with than Dawg was at times. Great sex scenes etc with the two of them and I appreciated that they had an interesting history. This is one of the few more erotic series that I have read that has a good/strong storyline running through it. For me a Lora Leigh novel contains a trinity of sultry sexuality – profound emotions and multi dimensional characters that take your breath away in their audacity for life! Nauti Nights is steeped with these elements again and I found myself picked up by the story with an ease that astonishes me.

Dawg is all toothy grins, lean muscles, broad shoulders, ripped abdomens with a tight ass and powerful long legs. And it is all covered in denim jeans and torso hugging tees. Nevertheless, he is also one of those tough, brooding, slightly cynical men that trigger the desire to find the hidden side of his heart. He will not give it easy, nor will he be easy to love, but frankly, who wants easy when hard to get can be such a thrilling ride! And this is something Christa is definitely getting. Years ago Dawg and Christa shared momentous hours together. She remembers it crystal clear while with Dawg the memory of those hours is cloaked in sensuous, crazy driving dreams. This is the foundation upon which the story commences and it remains the center of the story, that ravenous hunger of Dawg for Christa, delving deeper into their mind, heart, soul and body then either of them ever thought possible. How could I not be reading page after page in my own hunger to see where this would all lead them to?

While the Nauti MacKay cousins share a turbulent past together in the form of their fathers it is their shared youth and adolescent years that create a synergy that make me fall so hard for every Nauti Mackay. Once more Lora Leigh creates a tribe of men’s men; they live their lives on their own terms and they exude a “screw the rest of the world attitude” what makes them so dangerous at what they do. It takes a strong minded woman that holds her ground before a Mackay and Christa is such a woman. She might have been ogling Dawg as a young woman but she has matured since then and in no need to have her soul scorched again. But life can sometimes throw a curveball, with a threatening presence out to do bodily harm Christa and Dawg are thrown back together. Dawg’s grin is wider than that of the cat in Alice of Wonderland while Christa’s mind is set on ignoring Dawg’s innate sexual nature.

The plot is an ever present storyline but when Dawg and Christa generate a heat it creates a vacuum between their undeniable hunger that needs to be satiated and the reader that becomes a voyeur with the lush erotically charged pictures that Leigh invokes. While nothing on the sexual extreme is happening it is the interlacing of the physical desire along with the growth in emotions that makes it such fierce reading experience. That absolute hunger of the body combined with an absolute need of the heart make me want it all for Dawg and Christa and once more comes down to the trinity of what I feel protrudes so from Lora Leigh’s writing. As the plot rears its ugly head again in the last third of the story it only ups the stakes and the suspense leads the way to the final pages.

As I knew that the leading couple of Nauti Nights were heading towards their happily ever after it was in those final chapters that suddenly Natches who grabbed me. This is also an element this author has perfected, to give a glimpse of the next Nauti cousin and in response it already made me reach out for him. It is the implications of him remaining as the last single Nauti cousin that reverberated through me and left an ache inside me knowing I will want to read his story soon!

Nauti Nights is one of those novels you pick up, start to read and have a wonderful time while reading it. I was a part of their lives, loves and feelings in all their facets enjoying every moment of it.

Dawg takes care of him, and takes Crista out a back door, and to his truck... he knows there is something wrong with her being there and he feels he must protect her so as soon as possible he takes her out ...

and then he proceeds to blackmail - she goes home with him or he turns her over to the police for arrest... and she, of course, takes going home with him... and... as he makes love to her, he realizes his dreams were more than dreams - and he starts to remember the truth... and she makes it clear she will not be shared... and Dawg realizes he has no desire to share her... which cuts Natches a bit...

and the ops = 6 missles were stolen, local somerset people are involved, half has been paid (a million dollars) and a woman, who looks just like Crista appears to be in charge... a break in at the Dawg's lumber yard finds money and evidence planted to implicate Crista (naches removes it before the police get there)... and when they make it look like Crista left town, someone representing themselves as Crista with ID & looks, visits the men arrested at the warehouse - again to implicate Crista...

and it ends up to be Johnny... The Mackays... grandpa was a cruel man... he had 3 sons and 1 daughter - one son, Ray, was good - the other 3 bad... each of the 3 brothers had a son - Ray had Rowdy, Dayle had Naches, and # 3 (who died when Dawg was 20)... the two bad brothers had incestual relations with the sister = and the sister had a son via Dawg's father (hence his half brother) Jonathan... Jonathan always followed the other cousins around, and tattled on them, leading to beatings for Dawg & naches - naches got it the worst... when Ray realized what his brothers were doing, he did his very best to help the boys, and was more of a father to the two nephews than their own father... (and of course, from book one, we learn that 16 year old cousins were taken in by the local widow one summer, who taught them how to work together to please a woman - something they practiced until they joined the Marines)...

Dawg lost half of his inheritance to Jonathan and his aunt in a court battle, when they challenged the will (the only thng Dawg's mother did to protect him - or he would have lost all of his inheritance) with letters his dad wrote to the aunt disappointed in his son, and extolling his nephew Jonathan (actually his son, but not claimed)... and Jonathan (under someone else's 'command') brokered the deal to steal the missles - and he had made friends with Crista (who lived near his bakery), and had access to her house, so he took her clothes and wore a wig, and posed as her - setting her up to take the fall, to hide his involvement, and to hurt Dawg...

And Crista and Dawg let down their personal walls, open up to one another, Crista finally confides all to him about what happened that night - her surrender, her fear of losing herself in him and his dominance - and that she might not have been able to say no if he had asked to be with his cousins too... and Dawg confides that he dreamedof her (and the reality is so much better)... and that he is his heart, and cannot live without her - he is not letting her go... and shows her the home he began building when she returned to town, in the mountains...

and Crista, with her business degree, is inserting herself into his business, and he's letting her... but then she is taken... by Jonathan's boyfriend... but she is reassured when she realizes they are following her... and Jonathan kills his lover, and goes to shoot Crista (thinking that all will think the mastermind & flunky killed each other, leaving him in the clear), and Natches kills him (sniper in the marines)...

Nauti Nights by Lora Leigh is the second novel in the Nauti series and as fabulous as the first novel. We all know Lora Leigh writes some pretty steamy stuff and this novel is full of it.

We’ve met Dwag in the first novel, where he and his two cousins Rowdy and Natches are living every men dream, sharing women with each other. But recently Rowdy fells in love and couldn’t share his woman with his cousins. Dwag couldn’t believe what he was hearing, but strangely he understands what Rowdy was saying, especially when Crista Jansen walks back into his life. But Crista isn’t happy about the whole thing, eight years ago she left town because she couldn’t be a part of the MacKay cousins and she knew Dwag would share her. Dwag cannot even remember the night they spend together. But being in the wrong place at the wrong time is a good opportunity for Dwag to lure Crista to his boat and right into his bed.

Of course we see Rowdy MacKay; his fiancé Kelly and Natches MacKay, the rumors still goes round in town, that the cousins share their women. But nothing is as it seems, although Natches wouldn’t mind spending the night in Crista’s bed, but he knows she don’t want it.

After reading the first novel and loving it, I couldn’t resist myself and ordered the second book. Well I’m not regretting it, it’s fabulous; the sex is hot and steamy and the relationship between the cousins is great. Whenever one of the other needs help, they give it without asking why.
I know Natches will be next and I don’t have to tell you that I’m looking forward to read about him.

Lora Leigh writes dark, hard characters. The males are pure grade CAPITAL A alphas. The females are smart and complicated. Her stories are full of action and suspense, and hot HOT slightly dark erotic love scenes. Expect this going in to a Leigh book. It was better than just OK, but not her best work.

Dawg, being schwasted that night has blurry memories of Crista as “dreams” and strong, passionate feelings. However, he has never forgotten her.

Eight years later Crista has been back in town for a year. During this time, Dawg and Crista have been playing a game of cat and mouse with each other. Then one decisive night, Dawg saves her from a very dangerous situation in which she unknowingly plays an intricate part. In order to protect her and insure her innocence, Dawg’s possessive, alpha male side dominates and blackmails Crista into staying with him so he can keep an eye on her. The extortion element in the situation sounds sinister; but, they both are looking for an excuse to connect again and allowed the situation to progress.

After years of being apart, their feelings have intensified to the point that both of their souls have been affected. Their predominant emotions boil over into some explosive bedroom (and office) antics. The passion and heat Dawg and Crista create is powerfully and emotionally well-written by Lora Leigh. Adding to that is the suspenseful story arc which unfolds into an intricate whodunnit adventure that makes reading this erotic novel worth while. To further your enjoyment of this story, I recommend reading Nauti Boy, the first book in this series. Nauti Nights is a great bookshelf addition to any fans of romantica suspense.

I'd have to say this was not what I expected. Having read a few of Lora Leigh's Breed series, she had become an author I was happy to look out for so picking up Nauti Nights, I thought I'd be in for a doozy. Well I was, just not in the right way.

She lost her virginity that night and was taught the way of a woman with no kindness. When he mentions bring his cousins in to share, she was gone the next morning, sneaking out before he woke.

If that wasn't bad enough, she discovered he didn't remember anything and that she was pregnant. Having a very close relationship with her brother helped her through her conflicting feelings over the baby. Just getting excited about the baby, she miscarries and flees from town.

Now, she's back and in more danger than ever. Being setup, Crista lands in the middle of Dawg's raid and is barely saved by him and his cousin Natches before others discovered her there.

Dawg sees this as the perfect opportunity to get the woman he's always been chasing. Letting her think he doesn't believe in her innocence, she's to live with him for the remainder of the summer, work for him, and give into his every need.

Now their back in bed and Crista's losing herself to him again. All emotions reappearing from 8 years ago. Dawg himself is discovering emotions he's never had before and a want to never let Crista get away.

As secrets from 8 years ago slowly come out, it really just brings these two together, yet they still won't let their harsh words stop.

The danger only grows and as attempts are made to harm her, Dawg and Natches step up their game to find the culprit.

Sadly, they don't have to look far past their own family tree.

When the final truth reveals their lost child, Dawg crumbles and realizes the woman he let get away. Not letting it happen again, he takes out the threat and promises her a life of many adventures. (less)

Wow this is a completely different story than the first book, Nauti Boys, but the author did a good job maintaining the characters and their stories, no easy task in a series.
