I'd probably give this 2.5 stars. I really liked that she wasn't a waif with huge breasts and that she was shy, worried about her looks. She seemed very relatable in the beginning but then the dialogue was a little bland, the situation, though it seemed hot, was missing something. The two men did nothing for me. There was nothing to make me believe they were anything special. It all seemed to formulaic. The ending as others have said, was a cop out, which I knew about going in. I didn't care too...more
The 'Purgatory Trio' of short stories are very well written BDSM erotica.
They are basically BDSM scenes that involve members of the Purgatory Club. The stories are well constructed and meet the challenge of short story writing.

I'm a fan of BDSM erotica and because I didn't want to get involved in a full length novel this late in the day, I needed something short, sweet, and to the point. Went looking on my Nook and came across Roped, the first short, in Eliza Gayle's Purgatory series. I'm not sure how long ago I downloaded this book or why I hadn't read it until now but I'm glad I did.

She has been attending this club and getting all heavy (by herself in her mind) while watching two men going through women with the rope. Then they took her home and roped her up. yummy! Any more, read it yourself - it's pretty short.

Holy Crap! When I started reading this I was thinking "ROPE? How can Rope be erotic?" (other than tying someone up, but that's not what this story was about)
But Wow! Who would have though!? Now all I keep thinking is "Where are the step by step pictures to show me how to tie those knots!"

Another Kindle freebie. Really more like a 2.5 Stars, it was better than ok, but not something I can really say I though was really good. I thought this one hit a little better for me on the steam scale, and the author had a good 'voice'. I was interested in the main character, and intrigued by the idea of the club. The book was ok... I just kind of felt like I was given the middle of a book, like there was something I missed in the beginning that explained things. If I look at as just the middle of a book, it was pretty good. the writing was good. I know it was a short story, but I think a little more could have been added to make thing make more sense to the reader.
And I didn't understand the ending. Wasn't sure if what was written was true or not.

Wasn't really sure what to expect with this book, but I really enjoyed reading it. I loved the story between Katie, Quinn and Leo, and the chemistry between them. I also liked the fact that Katie had insecurities about her body, and that she was shy about displaying her body in the club. The only thing thats stopping this book getting 5 stars is the ending, which I was slightly disappointed in.

Another pet peeve was the cover. The girl on the cover is thin and the heroine in this book is plus sized. Couldn't they get a model that looked a little more like the heroine?

This is an extremely short but very hot story. It's all about BDSM fantasies. We find ourselves in a club (Purgatory) and Katie is observing one of her favorite things being performed by one of her favorite men.
There are ropes and two extremely hot men that know very well how to use them, on others and on her. As teasers go I think this was great to whet your appetite for what I'm hoping will be a sexy series and another hot club to get lost in.

Although I bought this as a new ebook, I actually have it (with a different title) from another publisher (bought in 2009).

I was afraid because this book was sooo short but.... GOODLORD!! It was great!!! I loved Katie!!! and when the book ended I was wondering what would come on the relationship between three... lol I;m glad I read DISPLAY next to give me un update on Katie!!! This book was HOTT!! I gotta root for my big girls!!

This book was just OK for me. I liked the Males, and the Heroine was alright but, I just didn't really connect with the whole "rope" thing. Tying someone up with elaborate designs just was "eh" for me. Still, the story was pretty good and somewhat titalating.
Ok for a freebie, but I feel like this story started in the middle, like I missing something. It was just kind of BAM there you are in the world of bondage. I would have bumped it to three stars with a little more build up to the beginning of the story.
Looking for a scorching hot short BDSM story? Look no further, rope play, impact play, corset, plus-sized red-head, two hot Doms, and a very nice twist at the end made this one of the best short stories I have read in quite a long time.
I liked the heroes, but the heroine left me cold. I also did not care for the twist toward the end of the story. I might read another one since the atmosphere in the club seemed intriguing
All you really have to do to get my attention in a book is throw in some bondage. While I’m not really that into suspension, I love the tying up and tying down. Give me more. I’m so glad there’s more where this came from.
Holy Shit! This is the first book in this series and as soon as I leave this site I'm going on amazon to order the whole series. I already read Tucker's Fall from her Purgatory Masters and it just makes you want to keep coming back for more. Hot males characters that know what there doing and make you think very naughty thoughts.
Wow! Fantastic! I was drawn in immediately. I wanted to know more about these characters and their rope fetishes. My only complaint is that it is too short.
Only bad thing about it was that it was too short, would of have liked to see more of the story sort of left one hanging.
