I really wasn't that impressed with this story. Yes, it was a very short and somewhat entertaining read, but I couldn't bring myself to care about the characters or their daily struggles. I believe that the great storm that was mentioned in the book was actually a tropical storm or even a hurricane, but it was only a passing concern for me. While I didn't hate the book outright, I honestly can't recommend it to others.

This small Heartsong book packs a big punch. Great detail and lots of adventure.
