This was pretty darn good once I decided to accept the set-up.

Only in la la Harlequinland does it make sense to run your business into the ground and propose that your ENEMY bail you out by sending your hawt nubile daughter (our Heroine) to ask oh so prettily. And only in a Harlequin can the Enemy, a Greek Tycoon (natch!) and our Hero, take one look at the hot piece of ass, decide he must have it, and offers marriage along with the millions necessarily for the bailout. And only in a Harlequin wo
Another seton recommendation and I loved it. This is such a marvelous HP, the theme is the same but the treatment is really good. Dione is a dutiful daughter(like in all HP's) to her jerk of a father, who is a bully and disliked by all, he even separated her from her mother when she was 6 and divorced her, jerk as I said. He has a heart-attack and then asks Dione to go to his biggest enemy Theo for monetary help. Seriously, why she loved this jerk of a father I didn't get, she refuses first but ...more
I'm surprised the reviews for this have been so positive. I felt like this book was written by a Harlequin robot -- it felt like a half-hearted copy of so many other HPs. Maybe for some reason I just couldn't connect with the characters, but I had zero emotional reaction to this one. It just really seemed like an author going through the motions without adding any creative spark to it.
A good story about marriage of convenience. Little bit odd in the beginning, really who would think to marry a stranger they just met? Started a relationship, maybe, but marriage in exchange for money?

Anyway, both of the characters are likable. It really showed that their love grew gradually. Recommended for a mild romance.

Tremendo drama. La misma historia de siempre, cliché, predecible... Pero la disfruté toda :-)
I wish this novel was a bit better, I was totally disappointed by a lot of it.

Quite an interesting chase for Theo as he goes after Dione.

Interesting- is all I'm saying.

It gets 3 stars. One for storyline, one for very persistent characters and one for sticking to the romance plot.
It was just Eh!!! Even though I have read many stories with the same plot, this one just did not develop well and it didn't flow well at all
I enjoyed my first book by Margaret Mayo. Will definitely read more!
