I'm still on Vol. 13, waiting for other volumes to be out here in Italy. (I heard vol. 14 is already out, going to buy that soon) So far I'm liking this manga, I've read it before in the net but I didn't finish it there, I read only a few chapters because I wanted to read this in print (the feeling is different LOL reading in print is always better) The drawing is cute and I really like the characters except that Hibino is sometimes whiny about their relationship, she's too attached to her boyfr...more
[Ch. 1-4:]
I really, really hope the main character of this manga doesn't get controlled by the guy main character. I forgot their names, but I know their last names are both Tsubaki.. haha, I still suck. I guess I'm bad with names.
The girl, though, really needs to stop wearing her hair in braids. Seriously, she looks so much better when she styles her hair before school.

I'm only about 6 volumes in and so far I'm shocked that this hasn't been picked up by an English publisher. It's cute, it's already completed, and best of all, the story is rather good.
This is a typical manga plot: geeky girl (who is really a hottie but doesn't know it) meets popular hot guy, the two date but have various problems standing in their way. In a very tenuous way it's similar to Kare Kano in that both of them are overachievers, the guy has a bunch of personal demons relating to his...more

I give this entire series 4 stars. Generally stories that revolve around the ups and downs of relationships don't interest me, because I'd rather there are other aspects to catch my attention. But I think this one is an exception. The relationship between Hibino and Kyouto is well built since the entire story is focussed around it. I liked this series, and I gave it 4 stars because it truly does depict a strong relationship that does equally balance out the two parties. What I mean is, unlike so...more
Wow... my 1st review on goodreads.
okay... I first read this manga about 4 years ago and already fallin in love with this manga..
the artwork is good, and I like the storyline, unpopular girl who fall in love with popular group but then the boy start to chase her.
This story kinda sweet , and we have to wait a little bit until they finally be together.
overall I give this 4 stars and I recomend this manga for you who like a shoujo genre and I heard that this manga finally ended :) Happy Reading Ever...more

Starting off with Chapter 1: Today, We Start our Love!
We have two main characters who happen to have the same last name, yet have not relationship at all. Hibino and Tsubaki.
(People from the states would misconstrue this as yucky topics, but what isn't grasped is that Japan is a tiny tiny place all mixed up.)
Hibino wasn't able to get her top three choices of high school. She also has high expectations of starting school and falling in love. (This chaffed me personally. I didn't like this girl...more

The series started out okay until the middle volumes, where the female protagonist's whining became utterly unbearable, even for avid fan of shoujo manga like me. I mean, there should be some development for the female protagonist too.
Dropping it now, just can't read it anymore after stomaching 30 to 40 something chapters.

This series has been a lot of fun reading. I would rate it 4 1/2 stars. I'm currently through ch 71, so I think I have read through vol 11, it's tough to tell sometimes online. Anywho- I'll try to match comments to the right volume.
It was so refreshing to read about a girl being old fasioned not wavering when it came to the guy. Plus, it was fairly funny.

It was pretty cute and fluffy and whatnot at the beginning, but Tsubaki (the girl Tsubaki...LOL)is kind of pissing me off right now. Eh, still reading it to see how it goes.

Quite a funny beginning at first but then it get to kyouta playing games with hibino, and what is weird is that their names are both the same.( Tsubaki)
Awesome manga series. Predictable, as most shoujos are, but I love the art and the storyline none the less. This series is great if your looking for romance.
