Kenta sees Karin at work and school, each day serving as a reminder that something about the girl with the oft-bloody nose just isn't right! He's suspicious...and he's not exactly subtle about it. Fearing that he might discover her secret, Karin decides to kill this potential problem--with kindness! She goes out of her way to do all kinds of nice things for him. But when K...more

HOORAY for KARIN!!

I freaking LOVER DOVERS her!! Her and her crazy crazy ways!! Her and her out of control OMGing! Her and her NOSE BLEEDS!! Loves her!!

In this book it was all about keeping Kenta (the boy she digs and the son of the mom she chomped on) super happy in high hopes that she won't splurt her blood all over the place.

Since this is the second Book I can spoil this.... Karin is like a reverse vampire and instead of ...more

Poor Karin! It just one awkward moment to another! But very funny for the reader! This book felt a little bit slow to me, even though there was plenty of laughs and drama on each page. The main plot of the book surrounded Kenta finally figuring out that Karin and her family are vampires, it just seemed to take forever for the message to get across. However, now that Kenta is in on their secret, hopefully this means the story will pick up a little more in the next book. Karin's family regained ...more

We left Volume 1 when Karin bit Kenta's mother, which Kenta just happened to witness. Kenta still has no idea what Karin did to his mother, but he knows that she's different. Better, in fact. She's never been so cheerful or had so much energy. Kenta is in the odd position of liking his mother's new attitude and also wishing she was acting normally.

Meanwhile, Karin is still drawn to Kenta's blood. And since she is most drawn to people who are unhappy, she figures that the best way to ...more

I thought this was a good book because I find it funny that even though china (a novice nun) is very naive she still keeps her memory. Also I find it humorous that after she gets all jelous that china's hanging out with Kenta and then gets defensive when someone thinks that she likes him. This is a good book.

Now that Usui-Kun knows Karin's secret, what next?
And her family decides to put Usui=Kun on their side to keep the secret.
But what's with her mysterious sister? Is she plotting something?
Let's find out in the next book! Kya~

And I would like to see more Ren-San! >_____<
I really like Ren.

Read this one to see what my daughter was reading. Although I liked it more than Twilight, it is the same female-teen angst that plays such a large part of Twilight, just in a half-hour read.

Yeah, I probably won't be reading anymore of this series. It's just too much for me to take in and I can roll my eyes only so much before it starts to hurt.

I wasn't sure if I would keep reading it after the first volume, but the second one did keep me hooked. An easy read and entertaining.

Karin is a vampire but there's something off about her. Instead of drinking blood...she produces it...in the form of nose bleeds.

I knew I was gonna love this whole series. It just reached to me in ways I couldn't see. Some how I could see Karin in myself.

Good good good! If you want an anime book with a new style I swear this will suffice for a teen chick manga!

This series is funny:) I love the comedy in it. Although, I'm not sure why 16+ should read it. So far it's not THAT bad.

In this second volume of the series, we see Karin's secret revealed! It left me wanting to know just how Kenta is going to handle this knowledge, and what is he going to do with it?

Karin's troubles continue in the second volume. I found it stronger than the first outing since all the characters had been introduced and Kagesaki could focus more on where she was sending them than on who they were. I'm enjoying the little "footnotes" to what the characters are thinking or feeling. I think it's cute and funny and allows more expression to be thrown at them than can be done with dialogue and art.

I'm still not sure why this series is so popular. It's not horrible, but it's not great, either. I think the biggest detraction for me is the art style. I just don't like it. But, I think I will continue reading this series for the time being. It's not a series I would ever want to own, but since I can get it through the library, I am still able to read it.

Growing up isn't easy, especially when you're a vampire with a serious crush on her prey.

I really can't remember much about this volume, since I read it so long ago. My memory is horrible!!

Another cute installment in the Karin saga. It is obvious that there is something between Kenta and Karin, but how long will it take them to figure it out. This really is a cute and humorous little series. I highly recommend it.
