This book is so well researched I refer to it often for my own writing. Staman is a great writer and speaker. She led a research for writer’s workshop for the Georgia Writers Association. Staman make Senator Rebecca Felton Come alive. A great read for those interested in women’s history during the time of the suffrage movement and Southern women who thrived after the Civil War Reconstruction. Rebecca Felton was the first female US Senator and the LAST female senator from the state of Georgia.
