With the deed to her land and a kid brother to protect, mustanger Skylar Daines shouldn't have tangled with the likes of Tucker Morgan. But his stolen kiss scatters her senses and, quicker than a whirling dust devil, they're wed! To her relief, Tucker's keen to fix the marital slipup--and then he tells her the deed she holds belongs to him, and him alone. Maybe she shouldn ...more

Danielle The Book Huntress (Self-Proclaimed Book Ninja)
I started this book on a Saturday and finished it the same day. This book was incredible. It has the great elements of an authentic western setting, engaging characters, sensual romance, humor, and danger. You will love Skylar as she is an incredible woman with a sense of honor but also the grit and determination to do what it takes to make a life for her younger brother. She was forced from a young age to suppress her feminine side and to work and to live as a cowboy, and nobody would question ...more

Danielle already wrote a most excellent review for this one, so I'll just try and add my few thoughts.

For some reason, this book started a bit slow for me, but that was probably my fault because I hadn't completely forgotten about Lord Dain from Lord of Scoundrels--(always give yourself enough time to decompress from your last read!) But once I got into the rhythm of the book, I completely fell in love with the characters and the story, and found it hard to put down. I loved 19 year old Skylar,

A cute western historical with a little heat and a lot of heart. Tucker and Skylar made such a great couple. Accidentally married (yes, this was funny!), they find they can't keep their hands off of each other. The story has them rustling a heard of mustangs from Arizona to Wyoming with bad guys not far behind. Skylar is an expert handler of horses, and can keep up with the men. But she has a soft side and yearns to live a life like a woman should, with husband, home and children. Tucker is take ...more
5 Stars! Just an old-fashioned wonderful romance. Not a lot of steam, but very sensual and passionate, great couple chemistry!

Skylar is a strong women, determined to claim what is rightfully hers, and wants to build a future for herself, and her younger brother Garrett. They meet up with the Morgan twins, Tucker and Chance, real men; scrumptious, strong, protective, just what I like in my heroes. All four of them are part of the story, but the romance centers around Skylar and Tucker. The attra
I was hooked on this book by the end of the first chapter, and it stayed with me (literally on my person) until I finished it!

This is a story about a proud, capable, talented woman who's femininity has been hidden and discouraged by her father for as long as she can remember. Skylar was a breath of fresh air, and the way that she proved herself to be loyal and steadfast to her younger brother had me cheering for her from the very beginning of this book. Tucker was so much fun! The way he shows
There was a lot to like in this book.

Firstly, there were twins and we get to see them be all twin-ee. This isn't one of those kinky books were they end up together with the same woman. Sad as it may be, I don't read a lot of books where the twins don't share their women so this was a new and exciting experience for me.

I also quite liked the heroine. She's down and her luck, has a borther to care for, nothing in the bank, all she longs for is a home and she finds herself married to the hero by mi

Weak 3 stars. If you don’t mind contrived plot events, the characters and romance feel good.

This is Harlequin – write a lot and do it fast. It uses typical romance novel plot contrivances. They love each other, but she lies to him and says she doesn’t want him. This goes on for most of the book and also causes the big separation. Good guy fights bad guy and believes the bad guy is unconscious. So good guy turns his back and bad guy pulls a gun. Good guy should have tied him up before turning his
Fantastic read. One of those rare western romances that make you cry. I let this book get away from me after the first read so I'm re-reading so I can put it on my keeper shelf.

Perfectly lovely. Beautifully written. Drool-worthy hero. Passionate and strong heroine. Fabulous plot. Loved it!!
I read the whole Wild series. They were all good, but this is my fave.

Finally done. It took me a longer time than usual to finish. Good story, nothing exceptional.
Great story! I'm not so much into American history (only what I saw in the movies) and I'm not sure if women were so independent and strong and men were so kind and nice but I totally enjoyed the story.
Mostly I love how our heroine tried to protect her brother and how our hero tried to protect the heroine and her brother.

A great story, recommended! Infact, I'm already onto 2nd one!

What a wonderful western. The romance of Skylar and Tucker, a couple to die for, is a must-read. Stacey Kayne's incredible style pulls you into her story from the first page.
Skylar was a tough young woman who had every reason to hate men. Raised unprotected as a boy, her father used her skills, took her wage all with the promise of a dream which he ultimately betrayed.

Twin brothers Tucker & Chance had vowed never to marry because of their horrid stepmother. Yet Tucker did, while drunk to a fatigued Skylar.

I admired Skylar's skills, her strength of character and relationship with her brother. Tucker is the happy go lucky, restless twin but can be a deadly force.

"Perhaps dreams are just that, not meant to be had. Nothing ever has the same luster in reality as it does in our minds."
Just amazing!
I kept my hopes down going in. There were too many western romance I read that started great only to fall under the tendency to include OTT because the plot was stalling.

OMG! This book was amazing! I loved all the characters, main and secondary. So much chemistry between the lead and secondary character! I'm so glad I gave this book a chance! My faith in good western romance writers have been restored!

Now I can add Stacey Kayne to my very short, western romance author fav list of
i loved this books

this book really fun to read, i loved all the character..theyre funny and real

tucker morgan is awesome man, hes so warm, romantic, thoughtfull , hot as hell, funny and hes my book bf he he he...hes smitten with skylar, loved her so much and did anything to cheer her up..

skylar is a brave girl, strong and very independent...her loved for his brother made her strong and survive all the problem...

the story was funny and romantic..i loved every part of it
Very nice story. I fell in love with the adventurist Tucker. Sky is a feisty woman who can stomp in the mud, and ride a horse just as well as any man. Loved her character though her tantrums were annoying sometimes lol. Her little brother Garrett was protective of her which gave this story a precious twist. And of course the other Tucker...his twin Chance was a sour puss who needs him a woman..can't wait for his story! Very good, fast, entertaining read
CJ - So, you wanna play with magic?
Bored me to yawning.

Predictable romance story with a prickly and stubborn woman (Skylar) who makes it hard to like her (respect? Sure. Like? Nope.) And a rakish, wanderlust filled cowboy (Tucker) with an uptight twin.

Garret, Sky's kid brother, was the only decent thing about this book.

It was an ok book but I'm not clamoring for the next installment. Especially since Chance sounds like a selfish jerk.

Good read with an exciting plot and good characters. The hero was pretty frustrating at times and the heroine responded to him in ways that were fairly annoying - the whole "I hate you but when you touch me I can't help myself" sort of story. Other than that, it was great and almost 5 stars!
The first book in the Wild series by Stacey Kayne. I know a lot of people have good reviews on this one but, sadly, it didn't work for me. Not sure what exactly it was but I didn't enjoy it. I guess the style of writing wasn't to my personal taste.

A good read. Tucker was so charming. I can see why Skyler couldn't resist him. I wish there had been more of a story based on their travels from New Mexico to Wyoming. A lot of the plot was taken up with events at the camps at night.
I always love the Alpha male in novels. This is the first time I love how the H is not so Alpha and sweet to h. Their relationship is so sweet. I love how the H treats the h.
This didn't live up to the hype. For me it was just a typical Harlequin historical, but it did have decent romantic scenes between Tuck & Skylar.
I'd have given it 4 stars happily but for that ending. That was downright sappy. I can't stand sappy.
The rest was quite good,though.
A nice book, sometimes predictable storyline doesnt turn out to predictable as expected, this is one of them :)
Too lukewarm on this to write a review. Last third felt like padding. Meh.
romance with attitude. skylar will not be walked all over!
