If you are looking for a well written k9 training book for the field, this is it. Robert Eden wrote this with one thing in mind, to teach. It doesn't spend time telling jokes or pointless stories. This book gets to the point. It covers a wide variety of training techniques and situations that a real K9 officer would encounter in the field, such as pulling over a car, entering and searching a house or building, tracking a subject on the run, and many, many more.
