Three stories comprise Children's Classic Compendium: Black Beauty; Wind in the Willows; The Water Babies. Having read and loved Black Beauty previously, I jumped into the Wind in the Willows as a buddy read with a friend. Reading the story together enhanced my enjoyment of this classic story of Mole, Water Rat and the careless and wealthy Mr. Toad of Toad Hall.
