17-year-old Jason is going out with Maria, and everything would be perfect if it wasn't for his 15-year-old sister, Lisa, behaving so strangely.

Slowly Jason realizes that Lisa is anorexic.

20 years ago I would have adored this book, and indeed read several books of this genre. Now that I'm ever so slightly out of its target audience range (*grin*) I had a few problems with it, as I felt some parts were somewhat unrealistic. I did appreciate that it was told from the viewpoint of an older brother,
