Recommends it for: All Naval and WWII Interest groups
Very interesting insight into operations that are not widely covered or ackowledged. Anyone with a more than moderate interest in Maritime and Naval operations during the Second World War should read this.

Walter Karig (1898-1956) was a Captain in the U. S. Navy and wrote a number of books referring to World War II. He was also an author of television scripts for war-related programs like "Victory At Sea."
