Emma seems to have it all. She is a teacher and her sister Abby is always trying to push her and Jacob together. But Emma is hiding a secret. This is by far the lamest of these "Love Finds You..." books. They are all pretty light and far from amazing writing (despite the fact that they are all written by different authors), but this one was full of silly dialogue and character interaction which you'd be hard-pressed to come across in real life. The idea was been great for a romance novel, but the execution was lacking.
It is always a nice change to read a book about the Amish. Makes me wish we lived such a simple, faithful life. I am enjoying the book and it will only take a few days to read.

This was my first Amish book. I picked it up from the library because I have been to and enjoyed Charm, Ohio. I started the book around 3pm and finished it at 11:30pm. Yeah, I think I liked it! LOL
Sometimes, what we think we want isn't what we want at all.
By the way, ignore the summary on this site. The central character is called Emma Miller and the plot is very different.

Charming story and good read for those who are interested in the Amish way of life. Great monologue throughout and wonderful twists of love & fun during the whole book! Worth buying!
Thoroughly enjoyed this read. I love these Love Finds You in... books. Good stories, all clean, with a love story thrown in. I'm a sucker for a good clean romance.

Thought this was a bit confusing in the beginning - lots of people & locations. Well worth it in the end - everything tied together.
An Amish girl moves to another community, meets an English friend, a love interest and settles her restlessness. I don't think the author has an conception of the Amish patterns of faith and thought, beyond dress and technology.

Awesome story, I wanted it to keep going on and on. A new favorite author to add to my list.
Very predictable, but still enjoyable to read. I'm glad it ended the way it did.
The first few chapters were slow then it was good.
Good, clean love story. Love these stories!
