I'm writing this review of the trilogy as if it was one book as neither story can really be read as a stand alone. The idea behind this story is great. Austin took the old song Puff The Magic Dragon and wove it into a story of love, magic and politics. I'm a sucker for good fantasy stories and this story could have been great. Loved it. Had some funny moments and was from a different point of view, of course, so that was interesting. I look forward to more books by Lena Austin.
