Heavily sugar dependant to make up for the taste perhaps of some gluten free flavours this book is interesting enough, but failed to inspire me to leap into the kitchen and whip up any of the 80 recipes....

I've had this book for about two weeks now and I must say...I am really enjoying it. I've made the Lemon Bread a couple of times, once with Meyer Lemons and once with regular lemons-both of which were delicious!
I also made the sponge cake recipe, which for my body, was not a hit. I am excited to try the sun-dried tomatoe rolls recipe this weekend.

Note: Some of the recipes are a little vague on the details. As someone who does a lot of baking I found myself reading and re-reading recipes to make

not a ton of recipes, but it does have pictures for every recipe (I prefer it that way). Recipes are simple and elegant. Love that they have fancy backery treats (not easily available) as well as simple things like muffins.

This book is fascinating with a lot of great recipes except there are several with ingredients hard to find in America. The author also uses mostly rice and corn flours which can make for grainy texture.
