I find that it's good to sometimes get back to the basics of art, and this book defiantly did that! It teaches you to be an artist from the heart, before you can become a technical artist. I filled up many blank pieces of paper in doing the exercises recommended in the book. It helped me build me self confidence with breaking the boundaries of conventional art, and taught me that art is nothing without creativity.
Thought this was a really wonderful book for the artist who needs to loosen up or reactivate the creativity that may have been stifled. There is a ton of great advice and exercises that I have even used for drawing programs with kids. It is definitely for any type of artist whether you deal with fabric, collage, painting, drawing, etc.

5-stars for enthusiasm, 2 for originality. This is an eye-candy compilation of my bookshelf full of classic technique and "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain."
Another one of leland's hodgepodge cookbooks of ideas. Lots of fun, great examples, something i will have to take more time to explore later on!
Nita, you've done it again. I can't imagine cramming this much information about watermedia & multimedia into one book! Bravo.
Kyle and Lisa bought this for me for Christmas and it is full of inspiration and it!!!
Checked out from the library and it has many creative ideas, some which piqued my interest.
great inspiration
