Shelves: mythology, essays
There isn't much mythology in this book as it's mostly the author tearing to shreds the work of Max Muller, someone he seems to have had a long-standing grudge with. It was dotted with some anthropological examples but not enough to make it an interesting read!

Not what I was expecting; this wasn't a work in its own right, but instead a rebuttal to some rival mythologist's inflammatory work. My fault for not reading the description before I started, I suppose.
