3 1/2 stars would be a better review. 3 stories, 3 authors, all with the female undercover cop hooking up with a partner from her past, so it's 3 reunion stories. As with any anthology, some are better than others. Also, by the 3rd story, the theme gets repetitive, so the last author gets the short end of the deal. However, the writing is strong throughout, and it's an enjoyable read.

Three short novels intertwine as three female LAPD detectives tackle three separate cases. One is playing maid , another pretending to be her indentical cousin, and the last playing a call girl. Along the way, they find love in these suspense stories by veteran authors.
