Anyone interested in tying their own flies should really give this book a shot. It is extremely informative. It ranges from the basics to the advanced and the written allows even the most novice fly tier to feel comfortable. The only issue I had was that there were several 'popular' flies that weren't in this book. I'm assuming this is due to the fact that there are several thousands of flies out there and everyone has their own favorite. Great book.
