This is a great series of books intended to familiarize readers with various countries, their cultures, histories and traditions. I learn something with each one. Luxembourg is so small, I rarely even think of it, but it is intersting to know how important it was in the creation of the EU.

Interesting traditions:

Pretzel Sunday-- a young man gives a woman a gift on Valentine's day. If she is interested she responds by giving him a Pretzel on Pretzel Sunday in March and he confirms his intensions
