Volume 11 is a transitional volume. Tons of things happen and at the same time, not a lot happens. It's establishing background for the rest of the series. While there are lots of little stories, political maneuvers, and relationship building, there's not a lot of action. Surprisingly, this wasn't a bad thing. The last few volumes have been so action oriented that I had to read them twice to understand what happened. Volume 11 is more straightforward.

The series has always been serious, but is b...more

Stupid OCD keeps guilting me in continuing this series even though it has turned to complete rubbish. Vampire Knight, Volume 11 is slightly better than the last volume in that the sentences actually connect and make some sense. For the past few volumes, it feels as if Matsuri Hino is trying too hard to be poetic and abstract resulting in a major fail. Maybe something gets lost in translation, but this was never a problem in the earlier volumes.

Although I've never been a fan of the h...more

Lots of drama takes place in Vampire Knight 11 and as always Matsuri Hino does beautiful job of depicting the scenes between Yuki and Kaname in such vivid detail that brings the story to life. I adore her artwork and am hooked on the storyline. I’m bummed that I finished this installment so quickly but it was just so awesome! Loved it!

This installment picks up where the night class is no longer attending Cross Academy after the war that broke out between the vampires and the vampire hunters. Yuk...more

I can't wait for the next volume to come out! The last chapter! The last scene! O__O

Great volume. I was very happy to see Yuki finally address her feelings for both Zero and Kaname- that way, it doesn't feel like she's ignoring her emotions, which happens with a lot of love triangle stories (which I hate). And (happy happy!) Yuki didn't piss me off while doing it! I would give this volume 6 stars just for having a love triangle that doesn't make me mad!
The ending: Gah! Cliffhanger! I want to see how the soirée goes!!!
P.S. I hope we see Wild's feelings for Ruka addressed soon (I...more

I really enjoy this manga a lot. And with where this plot is going I can't wait to see what will occur in the end. Though I'm up to date with the entire manga already, I've just decided to go back and re read this specific chapter. I suggest people who are into Vampires, drama and very well thought out plots to read this. Especially from the beginning even if you did watch the anime, it's best to read from the start.

I'm starting to feel bad about constantly harping on the same, but really, this manga, once read back to back is an exercise on shoddy writing.

I guess this will just become one of my "guilty pleasures", but I suppose it doesn't help I've been reading so many excellent vampire-themed books lately and when I try to get into VK, all I get is that the writer can't write and the world is really not that well created.

I do wonder if the book had less gorgeous boy characters if it'd still be this popula...more

v.11 begins where the anime series stops so I was looking forward to it. Hino continues with her somewhat confusing storyline but is sure to show Yuki, Kaname, and Zero after a "One year later" break in the story. No surprises but just hints. v.12 is where everything should take off.

This was a great volume! It delved way more into the relationship between Kaname and Yuki, and we were able to find out what happened to Ichijo. The last secene has got me on the edge of my seat, and I can't wait to read the next book.

I think I've missed some of the previous volumes but this is one of these series that mix me up anyway. I'm never sure who's who and who did what so I read it just for the feel of it and the art work which gives me aesthetic pleasure.

A lot of time passes in this volume. Yuki's living with Kaname; Zero's doing the vampire hunter thing. And then there's a ball for vampire society, which should be interesting since Kaname killed the entire vampire senate last year....

Warning: If you have not read the first book, I advise you do so before reading beyond this first paragraph.***

Vampire Knight is an interesting series that revolves around mainly around 3 people: Yuki, Kaname and Zero. This series has vampires, humans, vampire hunters and a mix of the above. Lots of romantic angst and political entanglements.

So this one picked up a bit after the last few volumes. While a 4 star rating is my being generous, I still feel the series is jumping around a bit too muc...more

This one was the one I was waiting for since it starts off where the anime ended. I wish they'd bring it back, but I absolutely loved this book, this series!
Kaname allllllllll the way!!

I loved the last book and the ending of Yuki and Kaname's story was sweet and zero's was sad. I loved the vampire knight series and I wished the anime and manga continued and now I will be reading the Black Butler series.

I can't help myself - I am hooked, hooked, hooked on this series. All of the pretty boys and pretty art finally wore me down.

Full review to follow.

I've never been too big on anime/manga but I did give these a try, and they turned out to be pretty good. Can't wait to see what happens next!

I watched and loved the Anime version of this. It also landed on my favorites.

For now, I got no plans for buying a copy.

I Didn't read the Japanese version, but the English version it was a good Manga Better then the other one's that I've read
Nidah (SleepDreamWrite)
This one was alright. Stuff happens but it seemed a little slow at times. But the pace was still good.

I have no idea what's supposed to be going on right now, but the art is beautiful!

I believe this volume had some of Matsuri Hino's best drawings. It was interesting.

Shoujo goodness at it's best. Even though the story is taking a darker turn, with Yuki's character changes, it's like the sweet innocent part of her can't fully surrender to the pure blood vampire in her. Hopefully she can reconcile the two parts of her personality. And Zero, was his usually cranky self, but he's still one of my fave characters. I am really looking forward to the reunion promised in issue 12, because the 3 main characters need to resolve their issues, but then the story would en...more
