This was the second book in the series of three. Hope was a joy to write. Unlike Faith, there is no card game instead its a battle against nature. Hope's love affair with the town's doctor pits her against the town. When the flu arrives, a fine line is drawn between taking care of the moralist and taking care of those who are sick. Dr. Norris and Hope must chose to stand together to overcome this evil.
