this one has a perfectly acceptable cover, but the title is troubling. it may just be the font, but 4 out of 4 people when questioned misread it. so it gets to be included.

I have to admit, I really didn't understand this book. It was an easy enough read, but some of the character's actions just didn't make a whole lot of sense.

As the new doctor in town, Maude has a lot to tackle. First off, the townspeople remember her as a kid. Second, she's a woman. And third, she's just not the doctor the townspeople seem to want for their town. Both hero and heroine are doctors. Both have painful secrets/mistakes in their pasts, involving siblings. Hero was a big-time ER doctor in Chicago, but has given it up to take over his brother's business on a ranch in Montana after bro's death. Heroine grew up on that ranch, but sold it to brother--complicated backstory, and part of conflict, so may be a bit of a spoiler. I'll stop.
