Ledeen is an expert on Iran, so I always try to read his books on the topic. This slim book looks at why the West seems to consistently give a pass to truly evil regimes (like those of Hitler, Stalin, etc.) until it's cost more lives than it should have, and will cost more lives to rid the world of such tyrants. Quick read, good for high level discussion but not very in depth. Asks the question, why don't we see evil when it is front of our eyes?
