مجموعه مقالات زیبای فوئنتس در مورد نویسندگان دیگر که می شناخته. این کتاب را عبدالله کوثری به فارسی برگردانده. ترجمه های کوثری ، دو حسن بزرگ دارند، یکی انتخاب و دیگری زبان ترجمه.

از بین بقیهی مقالهها اونی که مربوط به کوندرا هست قابل فهمتره. بقیه چنان پر از ارجاعاته -اکثرا هم به متونی که به ترجمه نشدن- که عملا کاری نمیشه کرد در برابرشون،جز پرسیدن این سوال که چی شد؟
