The Seed of Hope (TSoH) is the first book in a new trilogy called The Talent Tree by debut author Quinton Wall. The next book in the series is tentatively titled Of Worldly Deeds and concludes in the book Into the Nexus. These books are categorized under Young Adult Urban Fantasy meaning there are real world elements to the story as well as fantasy elements.
The plot is pretty straight forward. On their thirteenth year the children of Devon Grove visit the talent tree to receive their More...

Saw this on the Goodreads Giveaways and thought it looked neat.

This book is fantastic! I am reading it via my computer so it's taking me longer than it should but if I had it in paper format I'm sure I would have read it within a couple days. It's very well written. The suspense holds you captive, making you want to keep reading. It's a fun fantastical read. I'm going to go out and buy it (since I work at a library I don't buy books very often, only the ones I think are worth it).

Seed of Hope is a very well written work. I quite enjoyed the telling of this story of a mystical nature. Quinton managed to tell a distinctive story that didn't feel derivative unlike many works in this genre.
I would certainly recommend this book to those who like magic based stories that work for both the adult and YA crowd.
I am looking forward to future works by this author.
