I don't want to spoil anything, but it turns out the XML did it.
This book covers .NET fairly well so apart from it's obvious use of passing the 70-562 exam it could be used as a reference book. The only chapter that proved horrendous was Chapter 7, all about data access: ADO, XML and LINQ... oh shit! I will definitely have to re-read that chapter as my only memory of it is my inner monologue mouthing along words and my brain was nodding the whole time but only in the way a bouncer pr...more

Nice book for prepare yourself to the certification exam. It covers an intermediate level of knowledge, but offers lots of exercises to help you understand and fix each topic.
I can be good book to summarize your knowledge in ASP.NET
