"Hear me Now! I am a Vampire, a predator of humans! I have entered herein to Call the Gods of the Undead into this sacred place. I have gathered lifeforce from humans. I am filled to overflowing! I offer up this life essence to the Vampire Gods, Those Who Have Risen. I am here to feed and be drained! I am here to die and be reborn. I am here to rise from death into life! I am here to strengthen my bond with the true gods of this world! I am a Vampire!"

I guess it just wasn't what I was expecting.

Okay. I have a pretty open mind about stuff. I've read a wide variety of alternative spirituality texts... But this one is absolutely ridiculous.

I started it thinking it was going to be a parody. Much to my own disappointment, it was not.

Not to mention the old gothic font made it almost impossible to read. Pretty awful book all in all.

A lot of folks seem to think that the words themselves are what defines what this book is capable of, but it is what you do with them that gives them their power. Experience over conceptualization is real power.

Not what I had hoped or expected it to be, I was at least hoping for a bit more on the historical side to vampires and vampire lore or at least a bit on their actual beliefs (which I hope extend beyond humans are our food but we must treat them nice). Instead this is a ritual guide for those who wish to enter the Temple of the Vampire, it tells of nothing behind the Temple, it's history or what it stands for. As religions/belief systems go this one is lacking somewhat (and seems to style a lot f ...more

Not sure why I even read this, probably because it was free. Left a lot to be desired

Actually very interesting... Weather an actual belief system or not it's very intriguing to read about.

I guess there is always something a little weird about delving into another's culture. It was interesting to see what they value and do not value.
