Terry Spear has definitely come into her own as an author. I have very thoroughly enjoyed her last two books in her werewolf series, both of which show a lot of growth from her first book. After reading this latest edition, Ms. Spear is now on my autobuy list.

What I like best about this story is that the hero and heroine are not wolves. At least in the beginning. They meet while doing their own investigations for different reasons in the same place. And from that comes a great storyline not only...more

I like Terry Spear’s wolves. I guess that would be a given, since I love dogs so much. But of course, wolves aren’t dogs. They’re not tame. They’re not pets. Normally they’re not human either, but Terry Spear creates an intriguing, and ever-growing world of werewolves who are not the scary, all teeth and no brains creatures of children’s nightmares, but long-lived, loving, wild, enticing strangers, hiding away from our world, sometimes in plain view.

Legend of the White Wolf takes private investi...more

Legend of the White Wolf is the fourth in Terry Spears series. Something is up in the tiny snow encased town. Faith is chasing her recently departed boyfriend who heads into the woods. Cameron’s work associates disappeared in the same forest leaving cryptic, barely audible phone messages. The townsfolk elevate uncooperative to an art form when Faith starts asking questions.

Faith O’Malley is hot on the trail of her boyfriend. Make that ex-boyfriend. If leaving without a word wasn’t bad enough. H...more

Legend of the White Wolf is a romance with the added complexity of werewolves. While Faith O'Malley is a smart, beautiful heroine on a mission, when she suddenly faces future as a werewolf, things become markedly more complicated. She draws the attention of the local Alpha but she has her eye on another.

Meanwhile Cameron has his own mission - and must help find his missing partners. Cameron discovers and gets on the wrong side of the local werewolves. He must find a way to save his friends and k...more

Urban fantasy is my favorite type of book. I am a Fur, Fae, Fang girl 100% (in that order) The early authors in this venue were careful to make Romance a part but not a story. As more and more writers jump on the wagon they have made sex, not even romance the focal part of the book and we forget that it is a book about intrigue and fiction. Terry Spears has given us back the magic that made urban fantasy my favorite. Yes there is sex but the story supports the sex instead of the sex being the st...more

Cameron's friends went hunting but they should have been back by now. When Cameron decides to search for them, he encounters something unbelievable.

Faith's father told stories of "man-wolves" and Faith is determined to find out the truth. Is her father off his rocker or do they really exist?

Cameron and Faith meet and the sparks fly. While searching, they find a group of people who want to slaughter the werewolves. The problem is, Cameron and Faith are part of the werewolf species. Will the wolve...more

In the fifth book of this series, it finally mixes it up a wee bit. I hope the next are going to be this good and this is where the flip happened from boringish to amazing!

Faith is a beautiful, funny and smart woman on a mission when she is suddenly attacked by werewolves and change. Now that she is a werewolf, she has drawn an Alpha to her attention but has her eyes on another!

Cameron is on a mission to save his friends/partners and gets on the bad side of the wrong werewolf, which in turn chan...more

Another great book in the Heart of the Wolf series. I just love how Spear mixes the romance and the actions in her books. Even her characters are lovable. You can't help liking them, at least the good ones.

As for this book, I love how Faith had a real tenacious and bad-ass personality. And Cameron was swoon-worthy. The hint of vulnerability he showed was even more endearing.
You can say that the action and the romance are quite balanced in this book. And there wasn't a boring moment in the plot.

Mini Review

I have definitely become a true fan of this series. And even though this book wasn't as good as the others to me, I still enjoyed the story. Cameron was probably my favorite character of them. Like I've said in previous reviews, I always find myself connecting with the male characters. I also really enjoyed the romance between Cameron and Faith. Faith was a strong female, but sometimes I felt as though she was a little too strong minded at times, if that makes any se...more

Another great one by Terry! I have to admit I am quite addicted to her books! Faith and Cameron's story is a sweet one. It is kind of funny that two newly turned werewolves are aware of each other but trying to still hold on to human ways. Liedolf returns in this book and has impact on story. His story is next and I am looking forward to the Hot Alpha Red Wolf! Another great job Terry!

Well I finally finished it toke longer than excepted its been really crazy over here. But I love this series like I really do its my third favourite, it was very intimate at times but I love that again it has grat mystery with it. I mean I love it and what I give yo have a werewolf love lol I love faith she is smart and beautiful. I think what I liked a lot was that we got to see and know what everybody was going through , I love that we just didn't get to see faith and Cameron but the whole cha...more

Cameron and Faith separately set out for the wilderness of Maine, both for different reasons. Fate brings them together. But the danger of the wild outdoors and their enemies could tear them apart.

Since I haven't read the books previous to this one, I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy this book. But both the story and the characters pulled me in very early on. For me the brightest point is the character, Cameron MacPherson. I liked the sexy hero right away. Very charming and commanding, and plus...more

loved this one !!!

I loved that both of the main characters of this story were both fully human. I loved how Faith was on a return mission to get her dad's research back from the ex who used her to steal it, and I also liked that Cameron was on a mission to find out what happened to his friends and colleagues.

I liked how Faith and Cameron were instantly attracted to each other and I liked how they both ended up in the same place. I also liked that throughout the story Faith and Cameron were able...more

Like the previous books in the series I really enjoyed this book and I think they just get better as the series goes on. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

Really great story. Not like the predestined mates as usual but love at first sight as human and then even more as wolves. I just couldn´t until the end.
Thank you

Legend of the White Wolf was harder for me to get into. It was good, but I couldn't get into the beginning. Once the story picked up though it was quite good. I was kind of hoping the idea of dream-mating was going to continue, but no such luck. It was neat having this story start out with humans instead of wolves though. I thought that was a nice touch. I read this book right after Destiny of the Wolf, but I know there is a book between them. I was just too impatient to wait for it to come in....more

This was a great read. I started the book back in August and got distracted from reading it by too many things going on. When I picked it up the other day I couldn't put it down. Finished it in 2 days and loved that I was reading it during the firt snowfall in our area. My favorite thing about the main characters was that Cameron (the hero) knew from the first moment that he wanted the heroine (Faith). What I loved about Faith was she was a "Kick butt, independant, free-thinker".

I would have li...more

What I like about this series is that it is a little different take on the whole werewolf thing. This one including good wolves, bad wolves, new wolves, and mysterious Big Foot Hunters.

Faith is on the hunt for info for her father. She randomly runs into Cameron who is in the same remote location looking for 2 of his missing business partners. They seemed to be headed in the same location so they paired up. While searching for their individual problems the keep running into new ones. Not knowing...more

Faith & Cameron's Story.

This series had so much promise but clearly over-rated by the readers on Goodreads.

Compelling from the start! Terry has wolf behavior down pat. I loved the hero and heroine, as well as the hero's partners. Great story.

Friends are missing & it's up to the PI to find them. Then there is this woman who has her own ajenda. They are thrust together and although they do not start out as wolves, they soon are. And there is a difference between grey, white and red & who wants them in their packs!

More murder mystery, and romance. Perect balance all around.

I loved this book and the spin that Terry Spear took. I loved her approach and how she used Indian legends in this story. I was very surprised with the the hero and heroine in this story because... well, this is not how she writes and not what I am accustomed to. This is a well written story and one that is a definate read.

Paranormal romance is my favorite genre and I'm always on the lookout for new authors and series to read. Well, I absolutely loved this book!I can't wait to read the rest of this series. What a well written, action packed, sexy book. If you love werewolf stories then this series is for you! Well done Ms. Spear!
