In the third saga of the ‘Deadworld’ series, Morgan Hunter, Gina ‘Red’ Santiago, and a vampire named Demery as a guide enter ‘no man’s land’ trying to find evidence to clear their names. Their nemesis, Roark Montgomery seems untouchable. To make matters worse Demery plans to guide them into the clutches of a nomadic tribe called the Sand Moles who drink the blood of ‘Others’ like Red and Morgan as ransom for someone he loves. No man’s land is home to the most vicious criminals on the planet. Com...more

Crimson was a very satisfying ending for the Dead World series (preceded by Red,#1 and Scarlet,#2). It is refreshing to read a 3-volume series that really ends on the third book! Red and Hunter are part of a post-apocalyptic future where the existence of Werewolves and Vampires (Others) is hidden by a government that created them as super warriors for a long-forgotten war. The Others were supposedly destroyed after their usefulness was over, but at least one settlement survived outside the fring...more

This book neatly wrapped up the story line. The world is great and there is plenty of opportunity for writing additional stories about many of the characters that we were introduced to.

Red and Morgan are on the run in no-man's land. They have to figure out a way to clear their names and get back to the republics. Along the way, they meet several new friends. Will Red and Morgan be able to survive Roark and Michael?

Raphael and Catherine/Chaos' relationship heats up as well.

Still gritty, overtly...more

I've now finished this series, not sure why I hadn't got on with it sooner, it's been 2 years [at least since I had first read Red]. I steamed through Scarlet last week and have now finished Crimson.

A good conclusion to the series, it was a griping at the end and really struggled to put it down for the night.

I might read more from this author as this series was pretty good.

Great final book for the series! I enjoyed reading the series as a whole. Lots of action, people dying, people falling in love. Great series all together

Wow, I loved this book. Non-stop action until the bitter end! And what an ending it was!! Not sure if this is the last book, but it seems like it. Looking forward to more stuff from Jordan Summers. :-D

Really enjoyed this small series, wish their would have been more but love them never the less

This was a good, final installment for the Dead World trilogy. The pace was good and there was a definite sense of conclusion for most of the characters. People lived, people died, things changed. I hope Summers returns to this fascinating world in the future.

A great ending to this series. Red stayed true to herself throughout this series and there was some really great integration of the other characters.
Rachel- Goodbye Borders
Decent series. It was entertaining and I liked the wrap-up.

Jordan Summers is an ex-flight attendant with a penchant for huge bookstores and big, dumb action movies. She prefers quite dinners with friends over maddening crowds. Happily married to her very own Highlander, she splits her time with her husband between two continents.
