Calabar de Ruy Guerra e Chico Buarque é uma peça de teatro, que li já contaminada pelas músicas que conhecia de antemão e pela Portugalidade do meu sangue.
É óbvio o desafio que a peça impõe. O de questionar as versões oficiais, dadas como certas. O de virar a palavra do avesso e ver que do lado não aparente a palavra se transmuta noutra.
Perante a guerra entre Portugueses e Holandeses no século XVII no Nordeste Brasileiro, Calabar, que pertencia à facção Portuguesa, muda de lado e começa a lutar
