I can't help but fall in love with Druid's glen series.
3 1/2 stars. Really liked the characters. Just a lot of misspellings and grammar issues. The story and the characters are good

This one is about Isran taking a blue dragon egg and then fleeing to another realm. King Theron has asked Aimery (fae commander) and Kyndra (Dragon Order) to find him and get the egg back. She has taken vows of chastity but she finds Aimery attractive. While in the realm of Thav, they head to Eldar's (he rules Thav) castle to get his help before Isran does. On the way Aim

Dragonfyre is the story about how Aimery the Commander of the Fae army finds his HEA. If you have read other books published by Donna Grant, you will have seen Aimery before in the Druids Glen, The Royal Chronicles, and The Shields series. You do not need to read this book before those series or those series before this book, it is a stand alone story; however, you should be aware that the story is connected to those series.

Dragonfyre is true to what I expect from Donna Grant's storytelling. It

Good story but....

I have read most in this series already and I am happy Ammery has found his love, but towards the end when it should have filled out the story it was like the author was done and just wanted to finish the book, quick killing of the bad guy, no real closure for the Dragon. What was the amulet was it alive was it a Dragon, why did they want her to go?? So many questions and no answers

I'm not sure I can say this was my favourite book from the series, but it was nice to see Aimery have his own story and eventual ending.

I liked the use of dragons in this book and I did like Kyndra in this. I have to say, though, I felt that some of the language was a bit too modern. Also, I noticed several errors in this book.

I liked the scenes between Aimery and Kyndra, but I felt that there were a lot of similarities to the previous book. It was sad what hap
I have very mixed feelings about this story. On one hand I was very frustrated with it. At times, when some information was revealed, it was later reveled again and again but slightly differently and somewhat contradictory i.e: power is received if a fae, practicing dark magic, bathes in the yolk of a dragon egg.
There were numerous times throughout that I found myself thinking "What?" or "Why?". Also for such great warriors they seemed pretty inept at times. I didn't connect with the characters.
Nice finishing story that gives a HEA to Aimery, the awesome badass Commander of the Fae to whom we were introduced in the earlier books of the Druid's Glen series. I'm a little disappointed that Kyndra, our equally badass fae heroine who is both priestess to the Dragon Order and a warrior, isn't given much of an opportunity to do any, well, warrior-ing. Instead she's continually smacked around by the bad guys or rescued by the good guys. A little too passive, you know? But if you're going to be ...more

oh how I absolutely loved this book.. my second favorite from the series... there were very many more ups and downs in this book than the others. from a destiny to a decision and then everything happening in Thav.... This book was very much well worth eevery second! Hardly able to contain myself I lost time and dreskt of this book and how it would all work out even when I wasn't reading it.. Great read! Aimery: awesome sexy and powerful! Kyndra: brave determined and enchanting! amazing ending! l ...more

Finally, I get to find out more about the Fae from the Shields series! And this book has dragons and lots of fighting! I am one happy girl right now. It was fun having a book about Aimery, the mysterious Fae commander. Not to mention, I finally get the reference to Lugus from the Shields books. I also love Kyndra the heroine! Great book! Although it subtly gave away the ending of the Shields series.

This book contains some sexy times.
Really enjoyed this book!! It made me anxious at times when Aimery and Kyndra had to face difficult challenges before being able to be together. I laughed and cried heaps during this book and sighed at the end at being apart of this beautiful love story. I recommend this book and the Druids Glen series to all historical romance readers that enjoy the bonus paranormal characters along the way :D
I enjoyed this one, but not as much as the five primary books from the Druid's Glen Series by Donna Grant.

Winery has got to be one of the sexiest characters I have ever read about! I live how Donna Grant includes him in so many of her series!
Great wrap p to the series! The story of Aimery and Kyndra. We gain a little better understanding of the dragons and the Fea realm.
Absolutely loved this story.
