I enjoyed hearing Sally Friedes (a native of my home state who spoke in Milwaukee) talk as much (if not more) than I enjoyed her book. I'm glad someone isn't afraid to share her voice!!!

Heard the author on the radio. The Goodreads description of this book is one of the weakest I have seen. Go to Amazon for Editorial reviews and customer reviews for a better idea of what this book is about. A Catholic girl from Milwaukee finds unexpected hope in a new religion...

I really enjoyed this book, especially because Friedes went deeply into her conversion experience. Though she is married to a Jewish husband, she decides to convert of her own motives.
