If Fang dies, I'm going to make Patterson rewrite the book. I really will. Fang dying would screw up the series, and unless Angel gains the power to bring back the dead, Fang HAS TO STAY ALIVE! Fax is one of the BEST parts of this series! Particularly since the Erasers, and the School and all those people either don't exist or aren't interested in them anymore. The series was better when the Flock was running.

Okay, personally, due to MAX and The Final Warning, I'm not really sure if I should go out and buy this. The series kind of went downhill starting with The Final Warning. Okay, Max is supposed to save the world. Good plot.
Now Max has to save the world and stop global warming!
James Patterson is just piling everything on. Seriously, SAVE IT FOR ANOTHER SERIES. Those two ideas are very good ideas, but put together, it's just a little too much. I really hope this will be wort More...

Hey fellow Maximum Ride Fans!
Just thought you should know that if you look on jamespatterson.com not only can you read everything it's about but you can preview the first 6 chapters!!!!
And I'm totally with a bunch of these people on the throwing of the book if Fang dies!!!!! I mean, he and max just officially got together and if he kills him off what's Max gonna do!!!!
IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE WHOLE THING ON jamespatterson.com THEN DON'T READ ON!!!!

I love the entire series and I have every book up to #5. I can't wait for this one to come out. My biggest disappointment in this book would be if they actually let Fang die, cause if they do that I might die. He and Max just started to grow in their relationship, I'm anxious to see what they have in stored for us.

Well … this is awkward. I've been putting off writing my review for this book all weekend. I guess I'm still absorbing it. I just don't even know where to begin. So, here comes one of Brigid's really long and angry reviews, and it might contain spoilers. Sorry, I don't put spoiler alerts on my reviews because it bothers me––I'm not sure why. Anyway, here goes.
If I could describe Maximum Ride in one word it would be "Why?" Why hasn't this series ended yet? Why do they keep g More...

Tipikal cerita yang dipanjang-panjangin hehehehe Nggak ada yang spesial, yang ada malah bikin bingung hahahaha. Nggak tahu mau ngomong apa? Nggak tahu harus komen apa? Kayanya cukup baca Epilognya aja dah...bab-bab sebelumnya ya gitu dah hehehehe
Epilog yang sukses buat gue jadi mengharu biru kala membacanya. Sedih di kala bahagia.
Someday we might have only a few seconds to figure out the meaning of life

i agree with most of the other comments, out of the whole flock i only like fang and iggy. The other books were very confusing and off topic. like i dont even know what happened to that ape and organs in a jar guy, that was just really random. I hope this book makes more sense than the others. But what i was really confused about was mr. ching or whatever his name is? the villains are VERY messed up in this series. i dont even know why i still read this series, but the name of this book says eno

Don't kill me for writing this, after all, it’s the truth.
I did NOT like this book at all. To tell the truth, starting from the fourth book, everything plummeted from O.K to BAD. The first three books were okay, they're not great, but tolerable. But the fourth book till this book was HORRIBLE!
Why?
Because James Patterson, the oh so famous author, put way too many variables in the series. I mean, from global warming, to evil Itex corporation, to endanger species, and More...

I finished this book in one day. I tore through it. I thought it was very well written. It kept me turning the pages until I finished it.The plot twists were totally unexpected and induced just the right amount of "What the heck just happened?". There is adventure and romance and family.
The plot is kind of fuzzy at times. Sometimes, I wasnt really sure where the author was going with this, but it usually got resolved and back on track pretty quickly. At (other) times, it see More...

Alright, about this book...
There's no specific word to describe it, really. I thought it to be a HUGE letdown and, quite frankly, a waste of my time. I thoroughly enjoyed the first three books of the Maximum Ride Series, but, with The Final Warning and the books following, it has continued to go farther and farther downhill. Breaking it down into element:
Negative Elements:
The Plot - I thought it was hastily strewn together and lacking substance. It was just bad, More...

Okay, this book was well written and jam pack full of mind blowing twists and turns and plenty of emotion. With that said the developments with Angel, Iggy, Nudge, Gazzy, and Fang are way out of the way the story had been developing. Max is the only one who seems to be staying the course. I was mostly disappointed because of that fact alone. I have liked this series up until this book. I must say that the way this book went through these new quite dramatic changes really shocked me and since I j

REVIEW
The bad news - When I started this book, I didn’t realize it was the sixth in a series. The good news – It didn’t really matter because I had no problem picking up the plot and understanding the characters. Winner!
If you have read any of the other Maximum Ride books, you know that they center around a flock of winged teens. The flock’s leader, a bird girl named Max, has been prophesized to save the world. As you would expect, there is A LOT of action.
What you might not expect though, More...

This was the begining of a downward spiral of what used to be amazing books. I give it four stars because I still have faith in these books, but their heading in a girly, romancy, desperate direction that I'm not okay with.
This was just...a hot mess. Here is why.
Dylan + Max = 95% of all Maximum Ride fans NOT HAPPY. TEAM FANG, if it wasn't obvious.
After Twilight, I think we are all pretty sick of love triangles are we not?

SPOILERS! SPOILERS! SPOILERS!
I liked it, and I think it was good that Fang left... but I cried nonstop. Sure, he is my THIRD favorite character, after Gazzy, who's second, and Iggy, who's first. But I had a feeling of despair in my heart. But I still loved it. But thanks to James Patterson, when I read the comments on Fang's Blog at the ending, a was smiling, and laughing. I think there should be like, five more books. When you think about it, how can this series end without them all More...

2.5 stars
It was easy to understand even though i later on noticed that i was reading 6th book and not the first. i was kinda pissed at my dad (he bought it) because i heard the 1st book is the best or one of the best of the series and he just decided to buy the 6th book -.-'
It was a good book, i've read better books with a more believable storyline and dialogues but it wasn't horrible.
SPOILERS AHEAD, READ TO YOUR OWN RISK
I REPEAT, SPOILERS AHEAD!! More...

Okay! So does anyone else think that the guy on the cover looks a lot like the guy from Grease?!?! That was my first thought when I saw it lol. To tell you the truth I was pretty disappointed with it. I was hoping for more action, but now it seems like they are more just trying to figure things out which is great, but they could have thrown a few more fight scenes in there. Plus, I am totally confused. Angel went from this sweet adorable six year old, to a bratty evil seven year old who wants to

I'm giving Fang only two stars. I used to love this book series when the flock was on the run, sleeping in caves and eating whatev' they can get their hands on... but now that they seem to have unlimited resources, strange mood swings, and a new evil scientist to fight every half book the series has really gone down hill for me :(
But this is not a review on the whole series, just book numero six, Fang. I swear it took me five months to actually buy this book. That's five months More...

The 6th book in the Maximum Ride series isn't the worst thing I've ever read, but it is definitely not the best. As we get farther into the saga of Max and her family, the plot devices become more contrived, and the save-the-world "sub-plot" becomes annoyingly apparent. I feel that these books have become more about preaching to the younger generation than about making a good book for them to read. I wouldn't mind the ulterior agenda if it stayed in the background, or was merely implie

* "Fang" is the dark, handsome love interest for pretty Max, leader of six winged children, in an ongoing series. James Patterson starts with the obligatory charitable cause, here contributing medicine and food to African poor, meet the mad scientist villain, here injecting humans for improvements, ignoring deformed and dead collateral damage, and fight mindless flunkies. I do not like the repetition common to other books, or the destructive ending. Six-months out but fully-grown adult
