I got this book as a bridal shower gift, and even my friends who aren't on the LOLcat train thought it was hilarious (bonus: a friend's cat is among the kittehs here). I laughed, I "awwww!"ed, I pestered my fiance with pictures of cute kittehs behaving badly and butchering the English language (and it made HIM laugh, too). This just might be the most important weapon I have in the fight to convince my cat-hating husband-to-be that we need a kitty in our home.
I was delighted to find that my library carried this internet cult-classic. Their selection isn't particularly good. I was eliminating some books on my to-read list by checking to see if my library actually carried them. To my surprise, this book was on the 'yes' list! Hooray! I love cats; their deviousness and unintentional hilarity never fails to amuse me. Reading this in the library cafe was a mistake, though. I had to leave because I kept laughing obnoxiously. Yeah. yes, i am the kind of person who finds this funny. when i was little, i never liked cats, only dogs. and then i got older and settled into this personality only to find it looooved cats. and now i am going to library school. and learning to crochet. so you know whats next - its no surprise. bring on the cardigans and the eyeglass-chain and the doilies and slipcovers and the nine stockings hung on the fake-fireplace mantel at christmas not for my children, no certainly not, but for fluffy and mit...more

I only read this because my mom bought it as a birthday gift for someone else.
And that's not necessarily cool, is it? I mean, reading someone else's book. Then that book becomes "used" and it's not nice to give used gifts to someone.

I absolutely love funny cat picture books; they always cheer me up when I have a bad day. This book is one of my favorites for leafing though on those bad days. Furthermore, my goddaughter really likes this particular book.
Yeah, yeah, I know there are hundreds of lolcats floating around the Internet, but it was fun to flip through them in this little book.
The entire book is hilarious, but these are my faves:
1) if u tink i noe respek u in deh mornin, den we just sleeps till deh afternoon (two cats are intertwined on a bed)
2) if you don't like my changes, i can always edit your face (a cat is sitting next to a propped up book)
3) and if you continue to bathe me in the sink, i will scratch u here, here, and here (a...more

OK, i'ts not a book you really "read", but it's hilarious! Really. Even my brother laughed out loud, he's not a cat person either. It's just a fun book to laugh at. The first book is cute too. (I can haz cheeseburger)
Glad I didn't buy this one, just found it at my library while shelving books. A brief haha at times, but overall just stupid. Some of the pictures even make me feel sorry for the poor kitty.
I thought this book was so funny.This book is about cats.The cats have funny sayings around their funny picture. I think people that like cats should read this funny little book.

Hee hee hee! liked it even better than the first one. Naughty kitties. My favorite kitty said, "I cannot brain today. I have the dumb." I completely understand... :)
It's not as funny as the original LOLcats grouping, but it's a lot funnier than anything that's come out of the cheezburger crowd in the last 8 years.
Another funny winner. This one had several more of my favorite LOLs so that was a plus for me. It was slightly different in structure than the last one which had Professor Happycat teaching a class about basic LOL concepts. This one has very cute pictures about how to take over the world and groups pictures together accordingly. Each new 'chapter' has a new illustration that reveals the theme, such as "See What No One Else Can See." If you like icanhascheezburger.com, you'll like this.

this is such a funny book!!! i love the lol cats and the pictures are awesome, and the captions are even better....well worth the time....

I love cats. I thought the book was so funny and the cats in it were so cute!
Sometimes I just want to look at silly cat pictures. And here they are!
Again, I love this series! I can't wait till they do take over the world!

This is another collection of images taken from the web site icanhascheezeburger.com with pictures of animals, mostly cats with captions that are often not very funny, and intentionally mispelled to imply a feline accent that somtimes makes them unreadable...but every now and then one will be very hilarious. However they are just as, actually even more accessable on the web site, so there is really no reason to buy or read this book.... but I did it anyway.... for the second time. My grandson lo...more
