This is a great and relatively comprehensive history of the branch of the service I served in as a young man from 1973-1977. It is a lavishly illustrated big coffee-table-sized book that is so much fun to pick up and just read and reminisce over. The U.S. Coast Guard is a very small fraternity, and one that I am very proud to be a part of! Semper Paratus -- Always Ready!
