Well, for someone about to go into their first year, this is really great. For someone sitting in front of the end of second semester and wondering how the hell things got this messed up it's a tad less helpful.

BUT, that said, I did want to spend a lot more time studying throughout the semester, instead of just around the exam time (although, that is pretty much the whole semester...), so this book did give me a few more tips on how to do that properly. 1. actively study every day. 2. only revie...more

The advice in this book is probably intuitive for very organized and very successful students. But I doubt those students are the ones who, like me, spend their free time googling every conceivable variation of "studying + med school + help". The author's advice, while basic, gave me a clear picture of how I should structure my time and what my goals each day should be.
