George is an Anglican priest who loves music and the church. His life is very fulfilling; now if only he could find someone to share it with. However, options are limited for a gay priest, as he can't exactly go trolling through the clubs.

Fate steps in when the lovely Dominick is drawn to the church by the lovely sounds of the gay men's choir singing. George is their direc

George is an anglican priest, Father George to be exact. He is 33 yd, blonde like an angel and with the soul of a child. He likes sacred music, but also modern musical, and he has an offical church chorus, but also a totally gay chorus, since Father George is also gay. But even if in his mission, he is savior and clever, when he comes to love he is like a 14 yd girl to her first crush. He day-dreams of dangerous man with handsome feature. And his last obsession is the young guy who sets on a ben ...more
A priest and a vampire ... talk about forbidden love in the basic sense. I have only read three stories by A.M. Riley so far but everytime, it takes me to an emotional roller coaster ride that leaves me feeling sort of exhausted. From the moment I realizes that Dominick is a vampire, who suffers torture from his sire, his Master, who practically owns him for 800 years ... experiencing his desire, intense attraction towards George, a kind-hearted with romance streak Episcopalian priest -- how the ...more
I’m going to guess that this is one of the first books the author wrote as it has some significant problems but does show where Riley’s interests lie. There are vampires, clergy, and some BDSM overtones. Unfortunately the plot has some rather big holes and the characterization is choppy, making this book not on par with later efforts. This is a decent enough offering but no where near the brilliance of later books so it may be of more interest for those fans of the author, whereas there are bett ...more
This book belonged to the shelve barely finished and having feeling that something was made from all fancy things, which are so popular among females in western homoerotica and yaoi. Take a priest, not catholic that would be too much, but different congregation, which is gay friendly and made him openly gay and put him in the priest garb, then take vampires, then take hint of BDSM and some hysterical cataclysmic feelings and let them erupt from time to time in the book. Here it is the book, whic ...more

Definitely not my cup of tea. I couldn't get over certain elements (priest matched with vampire of ambiguous morals, good vs. evil conflict, holy vs. debased, and many others) of the story, and thus did not get past page 40.

There were too many threads being pursued at once, and I did NOT like either of the characters from the very beginning, so did not see the need to subject myself to the entire book.

However, as my reaction was mostly an emotional one, I will not add a number rating...
